Britney Spears Shares A Photo Of Her Son Sean: ‘My First Love’

Singer Britney Spears shared another photo of one of the children she shared with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, before they moved to Hawaii.

The couple were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two children together: Sean Preston Federline, 17, and Jayden James Federline, 16.

After sharing a throwback photo of young Jayden a few days ago, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to share a photo of her son, Sean.

On Monday afternoon, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a single photo of her son, Sean, standing in front of a familiar backdrop. He wore a collared shirt with dark slacks as he posed.

“My first love !!!” Britney wrote in the caption, turning off comments as she has done for the past year.

Just two days earlier, Britney had shared a photo of her son, Jayden, who appeared to be around 4 years old at the time this photo was taken. He simply put two flower emojis in the caption and again disabled comments on the post.

Last week, the “Slumber Party” singer gave her permission for K-Fed to move to Hawaii with her two sons and the rest of her blended family. In 2013, Kevin married volleyball player Victoria Prince, who reportedly got a job in the sports department at a university in Hawaii.

Britney’s Lawyer Slams Kevin’s Lawyer For Making The News Of Their Move Public

While it appears the “Toxic” singer has no real objections to the move, given how much time she spent vacationing in Hawaii, Page Six reports that Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, sent a fiery letter to Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

In the letter, Rosengart stated that Sean “will no longer be a minor” when he turns 18 this September. Likewise, Jayden, now 16, is “approaching adulthood.” Given that this is what the two boys apparently wanted, Rosengart wrote, “To her credit, Britney Spears would not step in and agree to the relocation.”

It is reported that the family is looking to make the move on August 1, so as not to disrupt the boy’s schooling. Kevin had previously threatened to involve the courts to force the move, but now that Britney has officially given her consent, there is no need to do so.

Regardless, Rosengart went on to say that he “doesn’t expect a dispute” and revealed that Britney’s legal team was first contacted about a possible move in April. At the time, he asked that the situation remain “private for the sake and dignity of all parties involved, including the children.”

In his letter, Rosengart wrote, “It is more than disappointing that you have nevertheless chosen to publicize this matter, creating unnecessary drama and false ‘controversy’ by publicly discussing your issue and letter,”

“When I called you yesterday to express my disappointment that you had done so, you denied doing so. Apparently, you don’t realize it [TMZ’s] The May 30 story itself cited you as the source of the story,” he revealed. Rosengart said that Kevin’s lawyers “didn’t serve a good purpose” in talking to the media, calling them “disrespectful, disrespectful, and unnecessary.”

“It is also ironic, given the statement in your April 28 letter that in addition to a job opportunity in Hawaii for Mr. Federline’s wife, the children want ‘more protection from media scrutiny.’ That is commendable,” he continued to write. “But your media interviews do nothing to protect them; instead, it publicizes the issue in the media.”

Rosengart went on to praise Britney as “an icon, loved and respected by millions around the world.” Although it has been reported that she has not physically seen her two sons in over a year, Rosengart continues to call Britney a “loving and supportive mother” who is still “loyally supportive” of her children despite their estrangement.

It should be noted that some fans have expressed concern that K-Fed is only trying to move to Hawaii at this time to try to get more child support from the pop star.

Child support in Hawaii can last until age 23, as long as the child meets certain educational requirements after high school. It is unclear whether Sean plans to go to college at this time, or whether or not child support will continue.
