On Tuesday, singer Britney Spears just announced that her new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” will hit bookshelves later this year on October 24.
While fans are understandably excited about the release of the pop star’s memoir, it seems the “Toxic” singer wants to focus on her personal life. On Wednesday afternoon, she posted some recent snaps of her posing in the park and having fun with her dog, Sawyer.

On Wednesday afternoon, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share some recent photos of her out and about in her garden and driveway with her dog, Sawyer. She wore a sleeveless white floral dress, allowing her lacy emerald green bra to peek through the edge of the fabric.
She accessorized her look with a wide-brimmed hat and wore her long blonde hair down as she rolled with Sawyer in the grass. In the caption of this Instagram carousel, Britney wrote, “Throwback with me and Sawyer ? !!!”

In March 2022, Britney revealed via Instagram that she adopted a blue-eyed Australian Shepherd puppy while she was on vacation in Maui. Britney began her post by writing, “Thanks for the dog!!! Dog spelled backwards is God … not sure of any correlation but I think dogs are amazing animals!!!”
“Even though I’ve been attacked by 2 dogs in my life…I’m still attracted to them!!!” he confessed. “The dogs that attacked me were not big dogs, a cocker spaniel and the other one I’m not sure of the breed… the cocker spaniel out of nowhere just scratched, bit and barked until I had to wear a hood. a car and crawled backwards behind me !!!”

She continued, “I didn’t go to the hospital … I just remember being in the tub with blood everywhere and it stung!!! I was 8 years old … next time I was on a date in my new jeans at 16 and I went to the door to get my friend and this dog came out of nowhere … it didn’t attack me like other dogs but it just came to me and bit a hole in my leg and a big hole in my jeans !!!”
“Since then I have to get to know the animals before I really get close to them … I have several small animals and my baby is so sweet … I have never heard him bark !!!” he continued. “My dog is so precious… I grew up with a really big dog!!! They are German Shepherds and trained in Germany!!!”

Britney went on to say, “When I had a man speak in Spanish at my front door in Louisiana … my dog who was God to me was an Angel !!! It is the most beautiful animal I have ever seen in my life … most German Shepherds are black but this one is yellow and white and its hair is long … but its face looks like its breed.”
“I was 5 years old when I had him… I love dogs, I just don’t trust others!!!” he added. “I found Sawyer in Maui, a gift from God !!! Literally!!! He held me so tightly when I held him that I really couldn’t leave the place!!! The women all stopped at the farm and I was holding this cute puppy that I couldn’t let go of … they were all staring … I was like ‘Okay what’s up !!!! Go now’ but I can’t go!!!”

“The owner finally stopped realizing I wasn’t going anywhere and he gave it to me!!!” he added. “He slept with me the first 2 nights then started teething and the little one— bit me … a small bite so he was forgiven … anyway, he’s grown up since I first got him !!!” Britney continued. “He’s only 8 months old and if anyone walks into my room he doesn’t know, he literally acts like a lion!!! He really shows the protective side I wish I would see in my so called ‘protection system’!!! I mean yeah … I feel really safe with my safety … it’s their job to do what they’re told !!!”
In a follow-up post, Britney said that Sawyer makes her feel more loved than any man she’s ever been with. “Sawyer made me feel more loved in 9 seconds than any man I’ve ever been with … no bulls—, no words !!!” Britney wrote. “Pure genius protection because of 1 thing … SHE LOVES ME !!!! The kind of love that doesn’t require POWER … SEX … LUST … or MONEY !!! Unconditionally pure, I will— you if you mess with my kind of girl love !!!”
