Singer Britney Spears took to Instagram on Saturday night to share a birthday message for her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari.
The couple first met on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and tied the knot in June 2022.

On Saturday night, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share three photos of herself posing next to her husband.
In the caption, Britney wrote, “Happy Birthday ?!!! I love you so much and hope you get all your birthday wishes and more? !!!”

However, the “Hold Me Closer” singer deleted her Instagram post minutes after it went up. Fans were confused as to why Britney would post a birthday message for her husband and then quickly delete it.
Luckily, the post went up again about ten minutes later. The captions are the same, but apparently Britney forgot the photo she wanted to include in her Instagram carousel.

In her new Instagram post, Britney included a photo of her standing side by side with Sam in front of green hills. Both wore sunglasses as they stood side by side, with Sam’s arm around Britney’s shoulder.
The two of them have been through a lot together. After Britney’s conservatorship ended in November 2021, Britney revealed that she was pregnant in April 2022. Unfortunately, in May, she revealed that they had lost their “miracle baby early in the pregnancy”.

“Our love for each other is our strength,” their joint statement said. “We will continue to try to grow our beautiful family. We thank you all for your support. We ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
The two then tied the knot about a month later in his backyard in Thousand Oaks, California. The star-studded event was attended by celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and more.

On Saturday afternoon, the former personal fitness trainer also took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of himself kneeling on a field. In the caption, Sam wrote, “Another trip around ☀️ grateful for the opportunity called life. chapter 29 page 1….”
Many fans also took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday. Britney has disabled comments on her Instagram posts since the start of the new year, but Sam still turns on her comments for select posts.

“Wow, didn’t realize how much younger you are than Brit! Happy birthday,” wrote another follower. Sam is only 29 years old, while Britney turned 41 last December. Another user commented, “You don’t look 29, you look older. Handsome, however…must be because you’re married to a celebrity who is under the microscope 24/7. Hope it’s worth it!”

Unfortunately, not all comments on his posts were positive. Last summer, Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline said that Britney hadn’t seen her son in months. K-Fed blamed it on her NSFW Instagram post, but some fans have speculated that her relationship with Sam is actually the reason Britney isn’t seeing her kids.
“Everyone is in denial because they think Sam looks so hot NOT he’s the snake you can see in his eyes!!!” one user claimed. “Come on, that’s why he can’t see his children. Something is wrong waking up.”
