The former couple were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two children together: Sean Preston Federline, 17, and Jayden James Federline, 16.

On Thursday evening, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share a photo of her youngest child. He was lying on his back on the floor playing a video game.

Britney didn’t write anything in the caption. He only shared the Chinese character for “me”. Comments on his Instagram posts are also disabled, as they are on most of his recent posts.

Over the past month, she’s also shared old paparazzi photos of her son Sean, as well as another photo of Jayden as the two boys prepare to move from California to Hawaii this summer.

In late May, Kevin Federline revealed that he moved to Hawaii with his current wife, former volleyball player Victoria Prince, after she was reportedly offered a job in the athletic department at a university there.

The decision to move made headlines after K-Fed threatened to take the matter to a judge if Britney did not agree before the June 1 deadline. Since Kevin has physical custody of both boys, it is likely that the judge will approve the move.

Luckily, it looks like Britney is trying to avoid legal drama for the sake of her son and has officially agreed to move out before the deadline. However, that didn’t stop Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, from putting K-Fed and his legal team on blast for going public.

In a letter sent to Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, and obtained by Page Six, Britney’s lawyer stated that Sean “will no longer be a minor” when he turns 18 in September. He also noted that Jayden, at 16, is “approaching adulthood,” and can decide where he wants to move as he begins preparing for college.

“To her credit, Britney Spears will not intervene and agree to the relocation,” Rosengart reportedly wrote in the letter, going on to say that she “didn’t anticipate a dispute” when they were first contacted about the move in April.

Rosengart claimed that he had urged both Kevin and Kaplan to make it possible for the family to move to Hawaii “personally for the sake and dignity of all parties involved, including the children,” who are still legally minors.

Rosengart Calls Britney Spears ‘Loving and Supporting Mother’

“It is even more disappointing that you have nevertheless chosen to publicize this matter, creating unnecessary drama and a fake ‘controversy’ by discussing your issue and letter publicly,” Rosengart continued, adding, “When I contacted you yesterday to express my disappointment that you have done so, you deny doing so. Apparently, you don’t realize it [TMZ’s] The May 30th story itself cites you as the source of the story.”

In the letter, Rosengart went on to call Britney “an icon, loved and respected by millions around the world.” He called the pop star a “loving and supportive mother” who is still “loyally supportive” of her children despite reports that Britney hasn’t seen her children physically in over a year.

Kevin Federline Hits Out On ‘Stupid’ Rumors That He’s Just Moving To Hawaii For More Child Support

Fans of the singer claimed Kevin had an ulterior motive for moving to Hawaii. Currently, she receives thousands a month in child support, but that will end when both children turn 18.

However, things work a little differently in the state of Hawaii. Child support can last until age 23, as long as the child is enrolled in a college, university, trade school or vocational program.

Earlier this week, paparazzi asked K-Fed about this claim outside McDonald’s in a video obtained by Page Six. Kevin simply responded to the rumors, saying, “A lot of people say a lot of stupid things.”
