Pop star Britney Spears just got a new car amid her divorce from actor Sam Asghari.
The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce from the 41-year-old pop star on August 16, although she listed July 28 as the official date of their separation in the legal filing.
The pop star took to Instagram on Saturday morning to show off her new car, so it looks like she doesn’t need her old one.

The car is currently on sale for $70,000, according to TMZ. The black convertible once famously drove through the streets of Los Angeles in 2007 when Britney battled paparazzi along the city streets, who snapped hundreds of pictures of the iconic car almost every day.
According to the outlet, in the year before her conservatorship began, Britney ran through various red lights, did a lot of late night driving, and even had a famous hit and run that dominated the headlines at the time.

The situation ended in January 2008 when Britney was removed from her home by ambulance and rushed to the hospital. The following month, he was placed under a conservatorship that was not sentenced by a judge until November 2021.

In the caption, Britney wrote, “Driving in my new car with my new assistant!!!” along with some emojis.
Britney often talks about her car as a “spaceship” and refers to it as a place where she can feel safe. In December 2022, she shared some details about her marital problems in a since-deleted Instagram post.

Britney revealed that Sam “hates” his medication practice and feels that he has become “stupid” because of his new routine. At the time, she wrote, “I’m meditating that b—- now ??♀️… my husband hates it … he thinks I’m crazy.”
“Falling deep into myself … I’m saying all this because I’m trying to take care of myself,” he continued. “Usually I forget to eat … I wait too long and I’m too sensitive so if anything goes wrong at home, it’s like the world has come to an end.”
