Jackson attended Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee, and was a WBCA All-American. He played in the 2001 WBCA High School All-America Game, scoring five points. He played collegiately for Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee. Jackson is a 6’0″ (183 cm) guard with three-point shooting skills. She was a member of the Tennessee Women’s Volunteers from 2001 to 2005, where she helped her team reach the NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball finals in all four seasons and the national championship game in 2003 and 2004.
She was a member of the National Women’s Basketball League San Jose Spiders in 2006. After one season with the Spiders, she joined Turkish club Burhaniye Belediyespor. She signed with Atlanta shortly after joining Polish club AZS KK Jelenia Góra in January 2008, after failing to reach the WNBA in her first three post-college seasons. She works as a model as well.
