During a recent Amsterdam show, Springsteen suffered a fall while performing for his fans, per Daily Mail. The 73-year-old man had turned to go up the stairs towards where his back was placed but tripped in the middle of the road.
Springsteen, dressed in all black, was still holding his guitar when he fell and rolled backwards in front of fans.
His concerned colleagues immediately rushed to his aid, with one of them removing his tool as they lifted Bruce back to his feet.
It’s unclear whether the pressure from his performance led to the fall or whether it was just accidental. Luckily, Bruce was unhurt from the fall, grinning after being picked up from the floor.
Afterwards, he said to the crowd, “Good night, everyone!” then raised his hand and started a new song.

Bruce is on the road for his latest tour, the “Springsteen and E Street Band,” 2023 Tour.
There are 37 shows in his tour, spread across 32 cities. Landgraaf, Netherlands; Zurich, Switzerland; and Birmingham, United Kingdom, will be the location.
Although the turnout at the locations he has performed at has been great, there have previously been many complaints about ticket prices.
In November 2022, Springsteen responded to fan backlash, saying that the tickets were affordable.
“They are in that affordable range. We have tickets that will be used for that [higher] prices everywhere anyway. The ticket broker or someone will take the money. I’d say, ‘Hey, why isn’t that money going to the guy who’s going to be there sweating three hours a night for it?’” he said, according to New York Post.
Bruce Springsteen Criticized For Performing In Disaster-stricken Region

The singer recently faced further criticism for still holding his concerts in the disaster-stricken Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, per Daily Mail.
Regions in the north of the country were flooded by rainstorms, causing several deaths, landslides and burst river banks. In addition, several towns and villages were isolated due to heavy rains that destroyed several properties.
Some local leaders considered the performance disrespectful to those still shocked by the tragedy. Up to 50,000 concertgoers are expected to attend. However, due to heavy flooding, many were unable to do so.
Italian TV presenter Tiziana Ferrario commented on Twitter about Springsteen’s actions, saying, “I love Bruce Springsteen, but considering the victims and the city in the mud, the Ferrara concert seems out of sync.”
He added, “Once [upon a time]you will shovel and help those buried in the mud instead of mindlessly singing and dancing in the same area.”

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced the inaugural American Music Honors Awards held last month at the Bruce Springsteen Archives and American Music Center at Monmouth University.
“Bruce Springsteen is one of the most recognizable, iconic and influential musicians – and New Jerseyans – of all time,” Murphy told the newspaper, per New York Post.
“It is important that we recognize Bruce for all that he has done and will continue to do, from giving us the gift of his music to lending his time to causes close to his heart.”
