Excited to discuss the process with “Bumpsuit” founder Nicole Trunfio, Rumer stated, “It’s amazing. It’s very validating.”

She continued, “We got a little toilet. Derek also had a little toilet song that he played for her,” and then proceeded to sing a special toilet song, each People magazine.

Rumer emphasizes babies’ natural body awareness, stating: “Babies have body awareness, so they don’t want to defecate themselves. We train them out of it by putting them in diapers, and look, there’s no way I can catch all his pee.”

Rumer continued: “We wanted to give her options. My dad and I’s favorite singers are Lou= Louie Armstrong, Etta= Etta James, Isley= Isley Brother.”

The name serves as a heartfelt and important tribute, combining “Lou” from legendary musician Louis Armstrong, “Etta” from icon Etta James, and “Isley” from the Isley Brothers – a favorite of both Rumer and her father, Bruce.
