The wife of Hollywood star Bruce Willis, Emma Heming Willis, is “thankful” for her family. The British model and entrepreneur took to Instagram to celebrate Thanksgiving by sharing memorable photos of her extended family gathering.
She has previously revealed how she now has “a lot more hope” than when her husband was initially diagnosed with dementia. At the time, she also spoke about being drawn to help and make a positive impact on other families experiencing similar situations.

Thanksgiving is here again, and Emma Hemming Willis is thankful that she has a good family to lean on amid her husband’s battle with dementia.
The Maltese native, who shares two daughters, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, with the “Die Hard” actor, took to Instagram to share fond memories of her family as a symbol of gratitude for their efforts.
The photo includes Emma, Bruce, and their children and features their extended family. They all looked in a happy mood while posing for the camera. Emma can also be seen getting cozy with Bruce on one of the couches where the family sat for the photo shoot.
Along with the photo, Emma added an emotional caption that read, “I am thankful and grateful to know this kind of love.” The mother of two also used the opportunity to wish her fans a Happy Thanksgiving.

Earlier in the year, it was revealed that Willis’ battle with Aphasia had taken a turn for the worse, as he had also developed a rare form of dementia.
The actor was first diagnosed with Aphasia in 2022, which forced him to retire from the film industry at that time.
Recently, it was revealed that Bruce is no longer “fully verbal” and has lost “language skills.”
“He’s not completely verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he doesn’t read now,” says Glenn Gordon Caron, the mind behind Willis’ 1980 sitcom “Moonlighting,”
“All those language skills are no longer available to him, but he’s still Bruce,” Caron said. The filmmakers also mentioned that Willis is no longer a person who loves life, saying he has lost his “joie de vivre”.

Even though Bruce’s situation has taken an emotional toll on his family, Emma doesn’t let it get her down.
The mother of two recently shared that she has “a lot more hope” than she did after her husband was first diagnosed.
“I understand this disease better now, and I’m now connected to an incredible community of support,” Emma said in an op-ed for Maria Shriver’s Sunday paper for November Caregiver Month.
She went on to say that taking care of Bruce gave her a “new purpose” as she uses her charm to “help and empower others.”
Emma also admitted that, although she is still learning about the rare disease, she is gradually finding her footing, and that the test has made her “stronger” than she thought possible.
