The former athlete disagreed with the athletic brand’s decision to be inclusive to the extent they took it. Jenner, who transitioned a few years ago, frequently comments on trans rights.
Jenner is bothered that transgender model Dylan Mulvaney is the new face of Nike. He shared his photos on IG and TikTok, announcing that he and Nike and changing the narrative.

It’s super comfortable and soft as butter, perfect for workouts and everyday wear! #feelyourall #teamnike #nikepartner,” he wrote in one post, mentioning that he works with Nike.
“As someone who grew up in awe of what Phil Knight did, it’s a shame to see such an iconic American company go up!” he wrote on Twitter. “We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the vast majority of people and have decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage.”
Many people were outraged by the comment and felt that Jenner should have been more supportive. Others agreed that Nike succumbed to peer pressure. Jenner never backs down and hits back at those who dare to comment.

Many were quick to call Jenner a hypocrite for being so harassed by Mulvaney when she signed up to model womenswear for H&M shortly after her transition. The New York Post immediately tagged him in their thoughts on hypocrisy, and Jenner bit right back.
“@nypost, the outrage I’m experiencing is a double standard over the disparity in treatment of Allyson Felix by Nike. I’m not hypocritical about my H&M collaboration (I’m an athlete with a long history of sports endorsements, including that one). Shame on you for calling me a hypocrite,” wrote Jenner, who was offended by their opinion.
Unfortunately for Jenner, they weren’t the only ones ready and willing to call her out. “Sounds like you’re jealous. Nike didn’t ask you. You will jump all that. Girl, bye,” called a follower.
A follower dropped a photo of Jenner modeling for H&M and asked, “Is this you?”

Another follower felt that as much as she disliked Nike’s campaign and choices, she shouldn’t have deliberately misrepresented someone who had gone through the same struggles as her.

Another follower wondered: “So the transwomen you personally dislike are men? How does it work? Why are you angry, as an athlete and a transwoman, that Nike supports other transwomen? What exactly are you angry about here? That black woman is paid less? No, it’s not that, is it?”
Jenner eventually stopped responding to people, but the backlash continues with her followers reminding her that she should stay humble because she’s not that different.
