Candace Cameron Bure leans into laughter to help mourn Bob Saget on the one-year anniversary of his death.
The “Full House” actor and comedian tragically died on January 9, 2022 of what was later revealed to be a brain hemorrhage from blunt trauma, in Flordia. Saget was on tour and had just finished a show; The 65-year-old had told showgoers at the venue that he was not “feeling good” before performing.
A number of celebrities have taken to social media to remember Saget, including one of his “Full House” daughters, Candace Cameron Bure. Bure, now 46, played Tanner’s eldest daughter DJ in the series.

Several of Saget’s “Full House” co-stars have also been transparent in sharing their grieving process in the year since his death. After news of his departure broke, John Stamos tweeted, “I’m disappointed. I’m sorry. I was really surprised. I will never have a friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
Jodie Sweetin, who plays middle child Tanner, revealed how she felt her TV dad was with her on her wedding day in July.
Sweetin revealed in an interview that Stamos had “accidentally picked out a shirt that Saget previously owned” and he felt this was the moment where he could tell Saget was present in spirit, according to a report from The Blast.
Dave Coulier, who played Danny Tanner’s best friend Joey Gladstone in the series, took to Twitter to pay tribute to his co-star.

Cameron Bure will also join her “Full House” co-stars in publicly mourning Saget’s death.

According to one of The Blast’s coverage of Saget’s death, Cameron Bure told People that he “wanted to talk about Bob” to help preserve his legacy. She also added that she wanted to “share things about Bob and share about laughs and good times, and that part feels good” to her.
Days after Saget’s death, the former Hallmark Channel star took to Instagram to share his favorite aspects of his beloved TV dad.
“Oh, Bob. Why did you have to leave us so soon?” Cameron Bure wrote in her post from January 11, “We are all family, but you are the glue. The sticky, messy, smooth, sweet, lovable glue. My childhood is wrapped in you, my formative teenage years, and another adulthood…” he would continue.
Cameron Bure Shares How She’s Spending Mourning Saget For Anniversary Of His Passing
The actress’ desire to talk about her late friend on social media has not diminished in the slightest.
For the one-year anniversary of Saget’s death, Cameron Bure shared a set of photos on Instagram, where she revealed how she commemorated his death.
“I’ve been up for hours watching Bob videos on my phone,” Cameron Bure wrote, “Videos I couldn’t watch a year ago because they hurt too much. Last night they made me laugh,” he added with a laughing emoji. “They comfort me and warm my heart. I watched them over and over and laughed out loud. I miss him so much and I’m thankful he was my friend for so many years. I love you Bob,” she wrote.
“Now go hug a friend like Bob,” he told his followers in closing.
Cameron Bure’s daughter Natasha left a heart emoji on her mother’s post.
“Love to your heart,” wrote “The Wonder Years” actress and Cameron Bure’s friend Danica McKellar.
“You had a HUGE impact on my childhood,” one of Cameron Bure’s followers wrote, “I will forever regret losing Bob.”
“Bob, myself and the cast made it through the tough times with great smiles and laughs,” commented another follower. “I hope you find peace and pleasure in watching it.”
