Following pop legend Madonna’s boastful claims about paving the way for female entertainment stars in the industry, the famous rapper took to social media to express her displeasure.
Inside a now-deleted tweet Cardi B, who looked up to Madonna for years growing up, couldn’t help but make her frustrations with the pop icon as candid as she could.

The “I Like It” rapper’s tweet, which has now been deleted, revealed that he sees Madonna as an icon to be respected because he never stopped respecting her even after gaining fame. He wrote:
“I really paid [sic] this woman paid homage so many times it made me grow up listening to her,” adding, “She can get her point across without putting on a clown emoji and mouthing off.”
Cardi B’s closing words imply that when one succeeds in the entertainment industry, one gets to see widely known legends for who they are. He wrote, “These icons become really frustrating when you make it in the industry that’s why I kept quiet.”
Alongside his removed tweet is a screenshot of a previous report about his excitement after performing at a Madonna concert. She updated her fans on the gram at the time with a message indicating that she grew up listening to the Queen of Pop and also used her songs to boost her confidence.
Not long after, the “Bodak Yellow” star shared a short message Twitter implying that all is well between him and Madonna. He stated, “I talked to Madonna … It was beautiful …. Have a great day and safe driving yallll.”
Cardi B called Madonna a “disappointment” after the star mentioned her in a recent Instagram story discussing the impact of her book ‘Sex’:

Cardi too declared his love for his icon by replying with “Love you” to a tweet from the versatile legend who wrote: “I love you @iamcardib !! Always have and always will.”
Regarding Madonna’s claim in her Instagram story about paving the way for women, The Blast notes that she gives all the credit to her book SEX published three decades ago. The statement reads in part:
“30 years ago, I published a book called SEX in addition to pictures of me naked, there were pictures of Men kissing Men, Women kissing Women and Me kissing everyone.”
He further mentioned that the book contained “sexual fantasy” and his “ironic” sexual views. It ultimately led to her spending the next few years being interviewed by “narrow-minded people” trying to shame her for empowering herself as a woman.
Because of that, she was criticized and called “whore, witch, heretic, and devil.” Despite this, she believes her achievements allow female celebrities to be open about their sexuality.
He concluded, “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her nudity, and Miley Cyrus can walk in like a wrecking ball. – You’re welcome, b*tches.”

Wearing a yellow, black and blue outfit, she paired it with a pretty necklace and boldly wrote “I” in blue on the post. The following word, “is,” is attached to the image of the legend drinking from a wine glass.
After that, she used two more photos of herself sulking with her bottom wearing a blue cover-up and the words “NO” and “Circumcised” written separately on the upload. His message might mean he’s never been circumcised, which will certainly spark conversation among fans in no time.
