The Blast has covered a bunch of Jepsen’s latest musical moves, including the “Cut To The Feeling” singer’s latest Instagram post featuring a crossword puzzle! This puzzle displays clues that match the album’s song titles.

Like solving a puzzle, writing and recording “The Loveliest Time” has allowed the singer to understand herself on a new level. He explored the concept of knowing oneself with “The Loneliest Time” as he began working on the album during the COVID-19 lockdown. Jepsen spends time reflecting on loneliness and how he approaches himself.

He described work on the final album as a “lifelong question I’ve had about my relationship with solitude” in an October 2022 interview with The Cut.

Jepsen would go on to say he believes self-satisfaction can happen after one forms a “relationship”, rather than being happy alone. “You become happy when you know you have a relationship out there,” she said. (per The Blast)

The “Run Away With Me” singer recently sat down with Rolling Stone where she discussed the new record’s exploration of being comfortable with all aspects of yourself — even if they’re not pretty to deal with.

“The Loveliest Time’ is more about self-ownership,” Jepsen told the outlet. “I have found it. I know what is good, what is bad, what is ugly and everything. You take that lesson, learn from it but go back out into the wider world and be ready to face it,” he explained.

Jepsen continued, “It’s funny because a lot of the songs are about that wild feeling that you’ll do anything to make yourself feel alive,” the singer explained. “Opening with ‘Anything to Be With You’ shows the feeling of ‘We’ll make it happen’. It’s a little movie-esque in that way. But I want my life to feel wild like that. And a lot of the songs were written from a place where I had yet to meet anyone that I was so excited about; it’s a longing for that,” Jepsen continued. “It’s a weird thing in life imitating art because I feel like I’ve written all these experiences that now in real life I’m going to have, and it’s weird if they’re written first and then happen afterwards.”

In the reel, Jepsen can be seen dancing on a rooftop and riding a motorcycle with a mysterious man.

She wrote, “Ever been in one of those relationships where it all went wrong? You fight all the time, you can’t see anything but some physical attraction keeps you coming back again and again despite yourself? I’m here to say that you’re not alone and that chemistry is sometimes just a bitch. ?We can be wrong in a thousand ways but when it’s physical, when it’s critical…sometimes we get it right.”

Fans will find out the title of this song on July 28th when “The Loveliest Time” is released!
