Manzo and Manzo appeared on Page Six“Reali-Tea” Live Event at The Loft at City Winery in New York City this week, and of course, there were questions about the Jersey housewives, specifically, Giudice. Caroline, who claims she has no interest in the Real Housewives franchise, reminisced about the days when the show was doing well in season 1.
“I miss the days of Season 1, Teresa. I did … that made me very sad because we had a belly laugh,” recalled the proud Italian. “We are there for each other. We are on this journey.” He and Lauren believed Giudice couldn’t handle the fame and let it all go to her head.
“Fame is so disgusting, and if you’re not completely grounded in who you are, you believe the wrong things,” he insists. Continuing to say, “Fame went to its head, and I’ll stand here to this day — to this very moment — because I’ve always defended it.”

Lauren criticized Giudice for picking up where her mother left off. He called the author of the “Skinny Italian” cookbook a “monster.” Dan quipped that he would “step on anyone to get ahead,” which people believe is happening right now with his sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and brother Joe Gorga.
Caroline even went so far as to drop the o-bomb of contacting the FBI about Giudice which led to her time in prison and jail time and the eviction of her ex-husband Joe Giudice. “PS, I’m there,” Caroline bragged. Lauren broke in, “But we won’t tell who that person is.”
So why didn’t Caroline shut up everyone who blamed her years ago for telling Tre? Simple, he “took the fall” because he “didn’t [a rat].” Caroline explained again. “It’s not about being a rat,” he insists. “There is this thing called collateral damage. So, when you say something, who will it hurt? Who will be hurt by telling this truth?” he explained. This may refer to Giudice’s four daughters.

Caroline’s latest stint on reality TV isn’t going as she planned. He appeared on Ultimate Girls Trip, where he allegedly left early due to some form of harassment by Brandi Glanville. However, he says he has managed to maintain his integrity.
He used this practice to get out of Giudice’s business. “You can believe whatever you like about me. I know I’ve never done it – I can’t do that,” Caroline insists. “But if blaming me makes you feel better, OK, so be your reality. It’s not going to change my day.”
Giudice has long blamed Manzo and his family for turning him and Joe Giudice on the police in 2011 when the investigation became public. His incarceration in 2013 left him sour and wanting to know who was the “rat” in the group.
Some plays played on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Guidice shared her theory with other cast members but ultimately never got anywhere.
