“The Talk” gives viewers something new!
Despite CBS’s daytime gabfest having had a controversial 12 months and experiencing a revolving door of hosts, it made a grand return for its 13th season on Monday. The show’s current hosts — Amanda Kloots, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood — are all on hand to usher in a new era with a carnival and a new theme song.

Fans of “The Talk” were thrilled when Kloots used her Instagram Story to share updates with them. The dancer first uploaded a photo of a blue and white striped circus tent with the caption, “First day back at work today @thetalkcbs for Season 13!1!!! Soooo much fun!”
Next, the mother of one gave a little insight into the show’s new theme song performed by singer-songwriter Andy Grammer. The 38-year-old was heard shouting “you and I need a friend” on stage as “The Talk” hosts danced along.

Kloots added an Instagram reel showing her and her co-host having fun, cheering each other on, riding roller coasters and playing carnival games. The clip, backed by “Joy” Grammer in the background, closes with the daytime show host posing for a photo.
Along with its 75k plays, the post has received 2k likes and several comments. While some congratulated the late actor Nick Cordero’s wife, some were obsessed with her outfit. The sleeveless flare dress is eye-catching in black, pink, blue and brown. The above-the-knee dress was paired with low-heeled slippers, a small necklace, and some statement bracelets.

Although the overall look is minimal, it seems very fitting for the festival that kicks off “The Talk,” especially after the year they’ve had. Moreover, not many fans expected the show to return after one of its longtime hosts, Sharon Osbourne, was fired. So even for the remaining hosts, it came as a surprise when news of the Emmy-winning show making a comeback for a 13th season hit the airwaves.

According to a report from TV Series Finale, Morales announced, “The producers just told me there’s some breaking news. This is just coming in now, ‘The Talk’ has been renewed for Season 13,” while the show was on the air. The announcement prompted several cheers and confetti sprays, after which Gbajabiamila responded, “That’s crazy; this feels really good.” Even O’Connell joked that he now understood “why all our bosses showed up today.”
Sharon Osbourne Gets In Trouble Over Racist Comments
Although it’s been more than a year since Osbourne exited “The Talk,” the former co-host’s drama over the show remains endless. The Blast reported in April that the TV host opened up about the emotional torture she went through over the scandal that led to her firing from the show in March 2021.
In case you missed it, trouble started for the former “America’s Got Talent” judge after she and “The Talk” ladies chatted about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey and Piers Morgan that echoed the duchess’ alleged suicide.

Osbourne stated that while she doesn’t fully support Morgan’s decision, she stands by her friend. The reply led to a heated argument between him and Underwood.
Things got worse when viewers refused to see his angle and labeled him a racist, leading to his resignation from the show. More than a year later, Osbourne attended an interview where he claimed to have received death threats from critics. In her words, the threats included claims that individuals would come at night, and cut her, her husband, Ozzy, and their dog’s throats. The mother of three added:

“I said, ‘I’m not going out, I’m not doing anything.’ I couldn’t stop crying because all I could think about was all the things I’ve been through in my life, and now they’re calling me a racist. This is madness!”
The relentless trolling and threats left Osbourne in a constant state of fear, prompting him to hire private security to protect him and his loved ones. However, the increased security did not help stop the severe mental problems he suffered, eventually resorting to ketamine therapy for his sanity.
Although ketamine is a drug used to tranquilize animals and humans, it has begun to circulate towards helping those who suffer from serious mental illness and have tried other drugs without any relief.
