Offset shared a lengthy message on Instagram just days after his Migos bandmate Takeoff was laid to rest.

The rapper opened his message by expressing how disappointed he was at Takeoff for leaving this earth. “Dear Take, The pain you left me with is unbearable,” he wrote. “My heart is broken, and I have so much to say, but I can’t find the words. I would go to sleep and wake up hoping that this was all a dream, but it was reality, and reality felt like a nightmare.”
The “Versace” rapper went on to share some memories of his cousin. “Every time you see me, you don’t give me a dap you give me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh for the last time. Smoke for the last time. For the last time.”
The Offset Message To Take Off Is Emotional

The message shows a side of Offset that fans usually don’t get to see. The rapper expressed his happiness that surely someone good, someone he can always count on in heaven is looking down on him.
“I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled,” he continued.
“Give me strength, strengthen your brothers, strengthen your family. Even though I know you’ll always be with us, throw me a little sign or a sweet dream. I love you forever, 4L and beyond,” he said before signing off with the rocket emoji and often used to symbolize Takeoff’s name and the red heart emoji.

Offset & Cardi B Criticized By Fans

The rapper and his wife Cardi B have taken a lot of attention online for their lack of presence on social media after Takeoff was killed. Fans expect them to come forward and express grief openly. They expect social media posts and maybe IG Live from the two crying.
When it didn’t happen, they were attacked online and treated like jerks plus fans insinuated that Offset and Takeoff were in a bad place when he passed and the rapper didn’t care. As we know now that never happened.

Offset’s message comes days after Cardi B shared her own message to her cousin. “I am heartbroken, but I am grateful for all the precious memories we were able to share while you were here with us. This is truly a nightmare and an incomparable pain,” he wrote in an Instagram post shortly after Takeoff’s funeral.
