A Celebrity Cruises youth counselor is facing federal charges after he allegedly admitted to molesting several children during a 10-day Caribbean cruise.
Cris John Pentinio Castor, 35, was arrested last week after the Celebrity Silhouette returned to Port Everglades, Florida, following a cruise that left South Florida on November 20, USA Today reported.
The FBI said he admitted to molesting multiple children on the ship after the parents of a 6-year-old girl accused him of touching his “private parts” on Nov. 27, the outlet said, citing a criminal complaint.
After picking her up, her parents returned to the Camp at Sea center on the ship and the girl told program managers about how “CJ,” as the counselor is known, allegedly touched her, WPLG reported.
He later told investigators at Port Everglades that Castor had touched him in the area “where the pee came from” while he was playing a video game.
Authorities said the security video did not directly show the act, but did reveal Castor’s hand reaching into the child’s lap as he played.
Castor, who is a citizen of the Philippines, “told law enforcement that he was aware and understood that he knowingly touched the Minor Victim around his vagina,” according to the FBI complaint.
He also “admitted to inappropriate sexual contact with other minors in his care at the Youth Center, on multiple occasions, while knowingly concealing his actions from the Youth Center’s security cameras,” the affidavit said.

Castor, who worked as a youth counselor since August, also said he touched at least three other children inappropriately “in their vaginal area, in some cases making skin-to-skin contact,” the feds said.
The alleged perv was charged with sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 12.

He is being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Broward County in US Marshals and immigration detention, according to WPLG. He was due to appear in Fort Lauderdale federal court on Friday for a detention hearing.
“We have zero tolerance for this behavior,” a Celebrity Cruises representative told the outlet in a statement. “We reported this to law enforcement and fired the crew. We will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities.”
