Grande and her former co-star Gillies have kept in touch over the years and will always have a bond from sharing the screen together. Grande shared a sentimental message about her 30-year-old former co-star.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful, brilliant, talented, funniest person I have ever met in my life @lizgillz!” wrote the singer who returned to the states for an undisclosed amount of time since filming on Wicked: Part One was on hiatus.
“You have made my heart so happy and perfect for the past 16 years! Absolutely everything and also, absolutely nothing has changed. I love you more than words can express and I hope we can be best friends in every life.”

The actress clearly could not refrain from pouring out her best in hopes of living. The pair’s friendship began long before TV! They appeared on Broadway together in 13. Later, they worked together from 2010 to 2013 on the Nickelodeon show Win.
The two continue to work together randomly such as when Gillies appeared in Grande’s “Thank You, Next” music video in 2019. Gillies praised the singer for PEOPLE a few years ago.
“We are really close. She is like blood to me, she is like my sister. So, unless we have a massive fight, nothing will happen there,” he stressed Dynasty actor. “We live together; I’ve known him for a long time.”

The actor posted about his birthday earlier this week. “3 days ’til 30 ??,” she wrote alongside a photo of an intimate get-together with some friends to celebrate her thirtieth birthday!
The actress wore a beautiful form-fitting black dress with small slits at the sides. He wears gloves that reach half way up his arms with the fingers cut off. Gillies wore bangs with long, flowing waves.
The food and drinks flowed there was no question that a good time was had that night and maybe a few more nights as the actress was seen celebrating all week.
