The CEO of Quality Control Music has joined a growing list of celebrities who have publicly mourned the death of rapper Takeoff.
Kirshnick Khari Ball, professionally known as Takeoff, died tragically in a shooting on November 1st. This event reportedly happened in a bowling alley.
Over the past few hours, several celebrities have publicly expressed their condolences over the death of the Migos member. Now, the CEO of the record label, which the artist was signed to before his death, released a heartfelt message.

First, the Record Label, which Takeoff was signed to officially released a statement of mourning on their Instagram, confirming that the 28-year-old was killed by a stray bullet. The sad caption read, “ With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Departed. “
The post went on to read that “senseless violence and stray bullets have taken another life from this world, and we are devastated,” before ending with a plea for all to “respect his family and friends as they continue to process this great loss.”
Following the official post from the music label, CEO, Pierre “P” Thomas, issued his own tribute. On Instagram, the entrepreneur shared a photo of the “Versace” rapper. Accompanying the picture was a long caption that was very sad.
He wrote, “Young King @yrntakeoff, I don’t know where to start, but I want to say that anyone who knows me knows how much I love you, and anyone who knows you knows you definitely don’t deserve to die. such a young age.”
Referring to the cause of the death of the “Messy” rapper, Thomas advised against violence in disagreements. “It’s okay to love your siblings,” said the entertainer.

Thomas went on to plead for everyone to “understand what families need to see on the internet.” He stated, “let them go through this process with peace and love.”
The Atlanta native ended the caption, writing, “I will forever love you.” Most of his fans also mourned the death of the artist in the comments section. One fan stated, “This really hurts, smh,” while another fan emphasized, “Bro doesn’t deserve this.”
Departed Shot Dead At Bowling Alley In Houston
In case you missed it, The Blast reported on the tragic events that took place in the early hours of November 1st.
It was reported that the “Slippery” rapper was at a bowling alley called 810 Billiard & Bowling Houston, playing some craps games. He was accompanied by his band members and Quavo’s uncle when the altercation took place.
According to reports, shots were fired, and the rapper was either hit in the head or close to the head, resulting in fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
From the photos of the incident, the 31-year-old rapper is seen trying to revive Takeoff. At one point, Quavo and his crew tried to move the 28-year-old, but they had to put him down. It turns out that while at the establishment, the young artist posted his location on Instagram. Maybe the incident was targeted, or the shooting might be unrelated.
Also, it was revealed that along with the rapper, two other people were shot. Both victims were taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Although their condition and how they are related to the shooting is still unknown.

Rapper Desiigner took to Instagram Live, where he wailed deeply and then stated that he was “quitting rapping” because this was yet another tragic death in hip hop.
American DJ Diplo shared a heartbreaking photo of the late rapper in his studio while they were working on a project. He wrote, “Taking a nap in my studio in Hollywood.. I’ve been close with all three guys in the band over the years, we recorded “don’t know any better” for Major Lazer that night. Woke up today to the news of him passed away.. My heart is broken.
He continued, recalling the murder of the late XXXTentacion in 2018 when he was just 20 years old, writing, “after xxx died, I moved away from hip hop production because I didn’t feel right seeing all these kids half my age die for a few dollars. .. we have to stop.”
