Chad Michael Murray Spreads Some Sunshine To Some Lucky Fans!

Chad Michael Murray may have been a die-hard fan of the 2000s, but the actor continues to warm hearts even today!

The “Freaky Friday” and “One Tree Hill” star recently took some time out of her busy schedule and spread some cheer to two young fans who have had a rough year.

Murray, 41, stopped by the offices of Hope Rises Together, a volunteer organization based in Buffalo New York that aims to spread kindness around their local community and beyond, and met sisters Elliye and Miles. The three took a moment to cuddle, and the sweet moment was captured on the Hope Rises Instagram account!

Read on to learn more about Murray’s visit with these sweet sisters!

What has Chad Michael Murray been up to this year?

Chad Michael Murray is all about experiencing and spreading positivity this year.

Murray, who plays one of the Lucas brothers on “One Tree Hill,” has long been vocal about his desire to potentially revisit his beloved town of Tree Hill, North Carolina, through a potential reboot of the series, which originally aired from 2004 to 2012.

The Blast shared a snippet of Murray’s excitement earlier this year.

According to our report, Murray has been thinking a lot about the possibility of a “One Tree Hill” reboot and where he thinks the iconic group of beloved characters would be today!

“I have an idea that’s been bouncing around in my head to do a new generation of this show, dealing with today’s issues,” Murray told E! News, “There are so many things now that are very different from what happened in the old days. So, you can do issues related to the child and the child [they] dealing with high school today,” he said. (per The Blast)

He also told People magazine “there’s always been talk” of a reboot starting up, but “everyone has a lot of other things going on,” (via E!) at the moment, preventing any concrete plans from being made or moving forward.

Murray Makes This Sweet Sibling Day On Tour To Rising Hope!

While Murray probably won’t be retreating to the basketball court to play with Lucas Scott anytime soon in the tight-knit community of ‘Tree Hill’, he is filling his time serving and spending time in the community off camera!

Yesterday, Hope Rises posted a cute photo of Murray hugging sibling duo Elliye and Miles on Instagram. The nonprofit gave a little insight into Elliye and Miles’ background in the photo’s caption.

“Remember our sweet friends, Elliye and Miles? Elliye saved her brother from a house fire earlier this year- each suffered horrific burns…” the post read.

Murray was “so excited” to meet the pair of siblings, his excitement is evident in the photo!

“@chadmichaelmurray is so excited to meet them- of course he is, this little hero is a #Buffalo hero,” the caption continued.

Hope Rises’ mission is to highlight pockets of positivity in the world, bringing attention to the countless stories of hope happening every day!

According to their website, Hope Rises explains that they “don’t just tell good news – we make good news happen.” They also inspire to “kindle hope through love and goodwill around the world!”
