Late Boseman’s Estate Divided Between His Wife & Parents

The second anniversary of Boseman’s death comes two months after it was reported that his estate would be split equally between his late wife Taylor Simone Ledward and his parents. Before his death, it was reported that the “Da 5 Bloods” star did not leave a will.

Ledward was thus made responsible for handling all financial matters and was given limited authority over the estate. In a final accounting report filed by Boseman’s widow, she ordered that the remaining $2.3 million left after reimbursement of funeral costs be split equally between her and her late husband’s parents.

Funeral costs, which were reimbursed to Ledward, totaled approximately $47,000 and consisted of $9,500 for the venue, $1,275 for flowers and $10k for funeral services.
