Career
Chaitra started her acting career while appearing in the Kannada television series Avanu Matte Shravani as Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal which aired on Star Suvarna in 2014. Later, Chaitra landed a lead role in the Tamil TV series Yaaradi Nee Mohini where she appeared as Swetha alongside ShreeKumar. The series revolves around a Mutharasan who is the grandson of a rich landlord. After his mother died, his father married Neelambari. Mutharasan respects and trusts his second mother without knowing that she is planning to kill him.
Chaitra made headlines for her performance in the family drama serial Kayal as Kayalvizhi opposite Sanjeev Karthik as Ezhilarasan. The series revolves around Kayal who is a hardworking woman and the only breadwinner in her family. He faces many problems in his life like harassment at work, uncle determined for his downfall etc. and the story revolves around how he bravely fights these problems.
