Chakori Dwivedi was born in Dehradun, India. He attended Convent Of Jesus & Mary, Dehradun for primary and secondary education. Later, he enrolled himself in Sri Venkateshwara College, New Delhi to pursue a degree in literature. Chakori was inclined towards acting and drama since childhood, and to hone her acting skills, she joined the Mumbai School of Drama. While pursuing a course in acting, he also did work at Verbum – the English Dramatic Society of Sri Venkateshwara College.

Chakori Dwivedi made her acting debut in 2016 with the Vishwajoy Mukherjee directed Indian comedy web series ‘Baked.’ He portrayed the role of Paroma in the series. The plot centers around the lives of three friends and roommates, Oni, Harry, and Body, who are students at Delhi University and are struggling to make ends meet. Other actors in the series include Pranay Manchanda, Shantanu Anam, Manik Papneja, and Kriti Vij. In 2018, she appeared as Shanaya Gonzalez in the web series Mr. & Mrs.. The storyline of the show is based on the daily life issues of a city couple and how they deal with them together in their marriage with a fun relationship.
The actress rose to fame after the announcement of her collaboration with Hotstar Special for their online series ‘Home Shanti.’ He plays a character named Jigyasa Joshi. The series, directed by Aakanksha Dua, stars newcomers Poojan Chhabra and Chakori Dwivedi along with veteran actors Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa.

The plot centers around the Joshi family’s old dream of becoming first-time home owners. The Dehradun-based family was faced with the task of finding a new home after being forced to leave their comfortable government-provided accommodation where they had lived for the previous 20 years. With little time to leave their current property, the family of four began the hard work of building a new home on a small plot of ancestral land. The trailer shows the Joshi family, a family of four, driving in a car. It introduced Manoj as Umesh Joshi, a comic Hindi newspaper columnist, and Supriya as Sarla Joshi, a stoic vice-principal of the school. Sarla chooses voluntary retirement to avoid relocation, putting her family in the uncomfortable position of having to build a house after being given short notice to vacate their government-allocated quarter. The series will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on May 6, 2022. Talking about the storyline of the series, director Aakanksha Dua said,
Home Shanti as a family drama takes a close look at the emotional journey a family goes through while building their dream home. It is a relaxed, uplifting and funny drama that will make the audience fall in love with Joshi and root for them till the last brick is laid. I feel very grateful to Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa, who brought their amazing synergy to the drama.
