Charlie Sheen has been granted a criminal protection order against his female neighbor who allegedly strangled him during a dispute at his Los Angeles home.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the violent neighbor was charged with a felony for the incident and arraigned in Van Nuys Court.
Charlie Sheen Receives Criminal Protection Order
During the hearing, the “Two and a Half Men” star was given a court-issued criminal protection order. Unlike a restraining order that has an expiration date, a criminal protection order means that Sheen’s neighbors must stay away from him and his residence until further notice.

In addition, the neighbor, whose name we are withholding, pleaded not guilty to his felony charges during his arraignment earlier today. Bail was set at $75,000. His initial hearing is set for August 1, 2024.
As we previously reported, the woman was charged with a felony for “Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Force: Possible Great Bodily Injury.” The charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison so things don’t look good for him.
The alleged incident took place on December 20 when the 47-year-old neighbor forced his way into Sheen’s home and assaulted him shortly after he opened the door. According to law enforcement officials, the neighbor allegedly tore the actor’s shirt and tried to strangle him during the dispute.
Afterward, he returned to his home where he was later arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon and burglary. According to reports, Sheen called 911, with officers and paramedics arriving at the scene. Fortunately, he did not need to be taken to the hospital for any serious injuries.
Unfortunately, this isn’t Sheen’s first encounter with the violent neighbor. The “Anger Management” actor told authorities that he believed his neighbor had sprayed a sticky liquid on his car before. Sources also claim he spoke to her after the car incident, wanting them to block it out and remain friendly.
However, that didn’t happen as the woman allegedly left trash in front of the 58-year-old man’s front door the day before the attack, prompting him to call 911.

Charlie Sheen Proudly Sober For Six Years
The unpleasant incident happened after Sheen’s sixth birthday. Earlier this month, the New York native marked the impressive milestone of being sober for six years and the achievement was celebrated with publicity by his childhood friend, Tony Todd.
“Congratulations to my friend Charlie Sheen. You made the decision to change your life one day at a time six years ago today. I am very proud of you. Happy Peace Day!” Todd told The Blast.
It’s not news that Sheen has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years, even leading to his controversial exit from “Two and a Half Men.”
In a previous interview, the award-winning actor spoke about his addiction struggles, saying, “I like to drink in the morning. I like to drink in the morning.” However, it wasn’t until they began to affect his role as a father that he took steps to change his life.
“One morning, I forgot my daughter had an appointment I promised to drive her to, and I already had a few pops that day,” he recalled of his daughter Sami Sheen, who he shares with his ex-wife. Denise Richards.
Sheen continued, “So had to call my friend Tony [Todd] to take us We got him there on time, but it broke my heart because he was in the back seat and I could just tell he was thinking, ‘Why isn’t dad driving?’ So I went home and sat with that all day. And the next morning I just stopped.”

The “Platoon” star took the unusual route and went cold turkey. He explained that it was a bit difficult in the first month, but he rode the wave and recovered since then.
“I think my first month was like, I have to give it a month, just see if I feel better, and if my interactions with those closest to me improve. And they did. And I was like, well, I’ll be gone for another month. And then it gained traction. I have momentum,” he revealed.
