Hollywood star Charlize Theron recently opened up about the disturbing ordeal she had when she was up and coming in the film industry.

The actress who is a mother of two adopted children shared that she was not allowed to make any choices about her clothes. He also recounted that several film directors brought him equipment that would only make him look “f–cable.”

Theron has since opened her own production company to help create a comfortable environment for her co-stars. He is slated to star in several new films, including “Old Guard 2” and “The School for Good and Evil.”

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Theron recounts a harrowing on-set moment from one of her many feature films. The actress shared that a filmmaker, whom she withheld her name, had her try on several wardrobe fittings just to make sure she had the “f–cable” look for the film’s production.

“I remember one film in particular, this male director who kept bringing me in, fit for fit,” he said in an interview published Thursday. “It was very clear that it had to do with my sexuality and how the f–kable they could make me in the movie.

Wilde revealed that the incident was not limited to the film or the director alone, adding that the ordeal happened back during his early days in the film industry.

“And when I started, it was normal,” the Academy Award winner added grimly.

The “Mad Max: Fury Road” actor further complained that the cast at the time did not allow him to have any input in choosing his clothes for the production. Once they have made up their minds about a certain type of dress, the actress is obliged to wear it regardless of whether she likes it.

“There was no conversation around it. It was like, ‘This is what you’re wearing,'” Theron told the publication.

He added that being sidelined from decision-making took a toll on him for a long time and went on to describe the various tests as “humbling.”

“Not having any control over what you’re wearing is a big thing that really f–king pissed me off for years,” Theron, 47, said condescendingly.

Ultimately, the actress decided not to continue to endure the actions of pornographic filmmakers, launching her own production company, Denver & Delilah, which she shared has helped make things easier for female actors.

“There is a natural struggle in me to want to create an environment [on set] it feels like something I wish I had 30 years ago,” he said. “I’m very conscious of looking at the big picture and saying, ‘Is this really the best we can do?'”

Theron’s passion for creating a better environment for actors was echoed in a statement from actress Uma Thurman. “[Theron is] not only a great actor but a great leader,” said the “Kill Bill” star, per Harper’s Bazaar.

The couple is set to star in the sequel to Theron’s 2020 film, “Old Guard.” “Longshot” star Theron will also appear in the upcoming film, “The School for Good and Evil.”

He told the publication, “During Covid, someone was interested in doing this with me,” he offered. “It was just diving into a deep relationship. And I was just like, I don’t know if I want to. … I felt so out of practice.”

The actress who is a mother of two adopted children stated that the most important thing she wants her children to take away from her is the value of hard work.

Theron added: “I think that’s more important than fame or anything like that,” she said. “I saw my mother working hard, and I just remember my whole life thinking, nothing is going to be accepted. You have to work harder than anyone else in the room.”
