Chase Chrisley Announces Split From Fiancée Amid Parents’ Incarceration

Trouble in paradise as Chase Chrisley confirms his split with Emmy Medders.

Any hopes of seeing the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum and “Elegant Tans by Emmy” founder walk down the aisle anytime soon were dashed with Chrisley’s recent Instagram announcement.

The now exes went public with their engagement in October 2022, just months after reconciling following their split in 2021. However, even a diamond ring could save their nearly four-year romance this time as they both “agreed to separate”.

After the couple scrubbed each other off their respective social media pages, eagle-eyed fans began speculating about their relationship status. Their concerns therefore prompted the television personality to share an update on her decision and Medders to stop it on her Instagram story on Tuesday, July 25. He wrote on a black background:

“Everyone has been asking a lot of questions about Emmy and myself. We have both agreed to separate and continue our separate lives. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

Following this sad news, it appears that Chrisley and her siblings have also unfollowed the influencer, who has yet to publicly address the split. The news comes just nine months after the 27-year-old popped the question with a 3.5 carat oval diamond ring.

While they both looked like they were in it for the long haul by taking the big step, their whirlwind romance wasn’t always at its best. According to The Blast, Medders admitted that her relationship with Chrisley struggled through its fair share of “ups and downs,” including “one major break.”

She joined her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Savannah, on the “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast to detail her and her ex-fiancé’s shocking breakup before they got engaged.

“We started talking right before the COVID hit. It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we had this, like, big breakup where we didn’t talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks,” she shared before admitting that “it feels like two months to me.”

The blonde beauty explained that the two have continued to work on their relationship since they got back together, a move she swears has made things “great” for them.

Emmy Medders Defends Her Reasons For Removing All Her Tattoos

Before Chrisley confirmed their split, Medders shared her process of getting some of the tattoos she got when she was younger. However, The Blast shared that the honest revelation got a lot of backlash from followers, who started speculating that it was a need handed down from her ex.

To address the drama he received after posting the video, Medders shared a screenshot of all the common questions he received and addressed at once, writing:

“Lots of questions about my tattoo! I have two tattoos that I got when I was 21 years old. The first tattoo was on my wrist, and it was my initials and mine [brother’s] initials. I thought it was very special, but honestly, it did NOT turn out the way I imagined, so I would always wear a bracelet to try to cover it up.:

The 26-year-old continued his thoughts and wrote, “My second tattoo is a cross on my finger which I still think is really cute.[.] I just don’t want any ink on my body anymore. You guys, there’s no reason I’m bringing this up other than the fact that I’m not a tattoo girl. I like them in other people[,] just not on me! That’s it.” He ended the message with a smiley face and a hand-waving emoji.

Still, some people really want to know why he got rid of the tattoo and how he made that sometimes painful decision. The 26-year-old mentioned he attended Gentle Giant Care in Atlanta for his removal.

Medders looked like he was having fun with the elimination as he chose to play NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” as he answered questions and posted more stories.
