Chase Chrisley Breaks the Silence

Chase hinted that he felt something had been “unexpectedly taken away” from him. She shared a short story titled, “Make the Chili,” to her Instagram Story on Monday, November 28.

The story details a man encouraging his friend to make his wife chili, because you never know if you’ll have another chance.

It read, “A good friend of mine unexpectedly lost his wife. A few months later we were playing golf together, chatting about nothing. He asked what my dinner plans were and I told him wifey wanted chili and homemade cornbread, but I didn’t want to stop at the store. We had been golfing for a few minutes when he quietly said, ‘Make chili.’ It took me a few minutes to realize that we were no longer talking about dinner. It’s about going out of your way to do something for someone you love because at any moment, they can unexpectedly be taken from you.”

The short story concludes, “The next time someone you love wants you to go for a walk or watch a soccer game or play a board game or just put down your phone and give them your undivided attention, just do it. ‘Make chili.’”

This is the first time Chase appears to have “voiced” his feelings after last week’s sentencing.

Her younger sister, Savannah Chrisley, broke her silence last week on an episode of her podcast. He revealed that he would take custody of their younger brother and adopted sister.

“I know the short term will be very painful and difficult and I may not come home without both my parents. That’s the chance. That’s the possibility and that’s the new normal,” Savannah said during an episode of her podcast. “I came home on Tuesday and I have custody of a 16- and 10-year-old.”

Savannah said her family would “immediately” file an appeal.

“I know what my parents have done and haven’t done, and I will stand by them and they are innocent and we will continue to fight and file appeals,” he said on “Tidaka Berkunci.” “But, my heart also aches for the children of people who may be guilty of something.”
