The 26-year-old detailed the shocking story when she joined her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Savannah, on the “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast this week. During their chat, Medders admitted that her relationship with “Chrisley Knows Best” has struggled through its fair share of “ups and downs,” including “one major break.”

“We started talking right before the COVID hit. It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we had this, like, big breakup where we didn’t talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks,” she shared before admitting that “it feels like two months to me.”

The pair have continued to work on their relationship since they got back together, a move that Medders claims has made things “great” for them.

Chase and Medders certainly looked in love and excited for their future when they first announced their engagement on Instagram in October. The romantic proposal, which took place in an empty stadium, featured heart-shaped rose petals and entangled ring balloons.

While the first slide showed the 26-year-old on one knee, as if to pop the question, the next slide showed him holding his lady’s hand as he led her down the field.

Subsequent images show the pair waving triumphantly before sharing a sweet embrace in the black-and-white picture. The final frame highlights the beautiful diamond ring that Chase proposed to Medders. The excited groom-to-be is shown below:

Things get weird when Savannah calls out her brother for being in a “weird place” and “unfriendly”, which he vehemently denies. He replied, “I have no problem with you, no problem with you. I just won’t let someone be evil.”

After Savannah explained that they were both “in a weird place” with the drama surrounding them, Chase responded, “I don’t owe people an explanation. I don’t have to explain my feelings to anyone, other than the people I love and I love. Obviously , what we’ve been through is hell, it’s a terrible, terrible situation, but I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest of times.
