Comedian and famous actress Chelsea Handler has taken shots at congresswoman Lauren Boebert following the release of a video showing her not fitting in with her date and vaping on the drama “Beetlejuice”.
Handler took to her TikTok page to take a jab at Boebert for lying about why she was escorted out of the theater and mocked him for engaging in “hanky panky” at the show.
Boebert has since issued an apology for his actions, attributing them to personal problems stemming from his divorce.

Handler, on Tuesday, posted a video slamming congresswoman Lauren Boebert for causing a scene on the recent drama “Beetlejuice.”
The popular comic, dressed in a baggy shirt and black bikini paired with sunglasses, directly addressed the controversy on his TikTok page with his usual wit and humor.
The operator begins by jokingly referencing a line from the iconic film where Beetlejuice’s name is mentioned three times to summon the character.
He quipped, “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, where are you? He’s probably too tired from our lust-filled night last night.”

“I was just scrolling through my TikTok feed and happened to see a beautiful video of America’s favorite Beetlejuice, Lauren Boebert, getting kicked out of a performance of Beetlejuice the Musical,” Handler said.
The actor later poked fun at Boebert’s earlier claim that he was escorted out of the theater for “singing too loudly,” saying that the venue staff actually had “the absolute honor of removing Boebert for various distractions.”
As Handler noted, these distractions were to “take pictures and videos during the middle of the show,” “swear during the show,” and, most notably, “engage in a bit of panky with her partner.”
“I really like it,” he added with a laugh.

Continuing his video on TikTok, the comedian stated that the theater was not the place for Boebert’s behavior while bringing up the debate about “concert and performance ethics,” especially after the pandemic.
He said, “We all know how I feel about having fun, but there’s a time and a place to be a little rowdy and during the ‘Say My Name’ show, isn’t it.”
“There’s been a lot of discussion online about concerts and performance etiquette recently, and since the pandemic ended, some audiences have become more part of the show than the artists wanted,” Handler said.
The comedian continued, “When you go to a show, we want you and everyone else around you to enjoy what we’ve worked for you to create. and you have no distraction from it.”
Handler then directly called out Boebert again, telling the congressman that if he was going to support the arts, he should “pass some legislation to fund it instead of being a national distraction for it,” adding, “You’re being boring. The streak.”

After his scandalous video went viral on social media, Boebert had no choice but to come clean and admit his actions.
He issued an apology, claiming that his actions were not intended to be “malicious” or to cause “harm.”
His apology read, “The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I am truly sorry for the unwanted attention I brought Sunday afternoon in Denver to the community. While none of my actions or words as a citizen that night were intended to be malicious or intended to cause harm, the fact is that it did and I regret it.”
She added, “There is no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has been a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I have tried to handle it with as much strength and grace as possible, but I have failed to achieve my grade on Sunday. That’s unacceptable and I’m sorry.”
Boebert has since stated that he and his democrat date, Quinn Gallagher, will not meet again, most likely due to his party affiliation.
