Taking to her Instagram story, she posted a video clip of herself dressed in black with tiny hoop earrings and minimal makeup. He begins the clip by saying:

“Good Morning. Guys, it’s my last day hosting The Daily show for the week. And I’m having the hardest time of my life. It’s been great.”

In the next slide, he shows the impressive view from his window and writes, “Last day of the Daily Show!” Before the video ends, he shouts Good Morning from behind the camera.

Tony Dokoupil followed up by bringing up all the trends that have happened since his show ended, like the #metoo movement, the global pandemic, etc., and asked if he’s changed much as a comedian since then.

The TV personality responded positively and stated that everyone, not only him, has been forced to grow properly and does not like to hear when people try to say that canceling culture is limiting. He said:

“It is not so limited. What they are asking you to do is not sexist or racist. That’s not a tall order.”

A third host, Nate Burleson, asked her why she wasn’t afraid of the cancellation culture, to which she hilariously replied, “well, I’m not an idiot. I didn’t do anything to be undone. I’m smart enough to understand the pulse of what’s going on and change my behavior and jokes to be non-discriminatory.”

The writer insists that it just means comedians need to be smarter, a challenge he’s excited to take on.
