After experiencing heartbreak in her life last year, from divorcing her husband of three years, Matthew Lawrence, and leaving “Dancing With The Stars,” where she danced for more than a decade, fans wondered what she would do next. Kicking off the new year with a bang, the star reveals details about her new talk show with interesting and unique content.
Cheryl Burke Reveals How Her New Show Was Born
Leaving a place you’ve been to for a long time can be scary, especially when it’s something you love. That’s how it is for Burke, but instead of leaning on his oars, he’s grabbed the next best thing he loves, diamond painting, while swapping stories.
He took to his Instagram page and explained how his new talk show came about along with a video and photo of himself preparing for a press interview. In the first slide, she poses for a full-length mirror selfie that shows off the beautiful mustard-colored suit she’s wearing, paired with gold heels, some bright nude makeup and wavy hair.

The TV star later posted a video of herself getting ready with her wet hair wrapped in a white towel and complained about the time difference and how she was going to talk about “Diving Deep.” The last slide contains excerpts from his morning interview with FOX news and his show, where he spoke with Amanda Kloots. Alongside the photo, he wrote in the caption:
“I am truly overwhelmed by the amount of love and excitement about Diving Deep. It means the world to me!” The entrepreneur revealed that the show started during the COVID-19 lockdown when he was looking for a suitable hobby and discovered diamond painting.
She says, “the competitive ballroom dancer in me saw that rhinestones were involved, and it was love at first sight.” When she realized it was therapeutic, she started engaging her friends through Instagram directly.
The TV personality revealed that it was originally called “All That Glitters,” and as she looks forward to it each week, she finds that she learns something new about each friend.
Burke explained that the process wasn’t about finishing the whole painting but healing from it, adding, “For once in my life, it’s not about the end goal, it’s about the now, here and now.”
The competitive ballroom dancer has high hopes for the new venture and may even be considered the next Oprah. According to The Blast, the show will air on January 10 via YouTube and Facebook.

Cheryl Burke Lets Go of the Past and Embraces a New Beginning
After a tumultuous year, Burke stated that she was ready to let it all go and focus on creating new things for herself. The Blast shared that Burke declared that he would leave behind all his past baggage in a video on New Year’s Eve.
In it, the model strolls down the street and puts her hands on her hips before telling her fans that she’s emotional because she’s made it through this year despite the challenges.
“When you see me crying at 11:59pm on NYE, don’t think it’s because I’m sad. It’s because I F*king MADE IT all year doing everything to try and destroy me,” the caption began.
The “PrimeTime Emmy Award” winner revealed that there was a moment he wasn’t sure about making it and that he had come to the end of defining his future with his past. The star expressed readiness to start a new chapter and he can’t wait to show himself.
