Cheryl Burke is the most supportive ex-wife ever!
The retired “Dancing With the Stars” pro and her husband, Matthew Lawrence, called off their wedding last year.
They had been married for three years and she filed for dissolution of marriage in February 2022. She announced their separation in January.

Burke has remained single since the divorce was finalized; however, Lawrence did not.
He is currently dating TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.
Reports of the couple dating began in late 2022, and they went public in January.
During a recent red carpet appearance, Lawrence gushed over his new girlfriend and expressed his desire to have children with her.

While talking to Entertainment tonight, he was asked if he wanted to welcome the children with Chili.
He replied, “I hope so. That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re trying to do.”
He continued, “My life is in full bloom right now. I get to spend time with amazing women like Chilli.”
Burke listened to his comments and added his own.

Appearing on Chris Harrison’s podcast, “The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever With Chris Harrison,” Burke admitted she’s very happy for her to have children.
In fact, she was not “surprised” by her ex-husband’s confession.
“I really hope he can really have a child with Chili,” she said, “want to[ing] he is well.”
He stated that Lawrence “always wanted” to be a father.

The former couple also talked about starting a family when they were together. They had a “conversation” about freezing her eggs.
“He comes from a big family,” he explained. “But I always say, ‘As long as I have to wear a dance dress, I think about being pregnant is probably not something I can talk about right now.'”
Lawrence recently opened up about her past failed relationships on her “Brotherly Love” podcast.
He co-hosts with his brothers Andrew and Joey Lawrence.
During last Friday’s episode, she said, “I found out that’s the reason why I’m so withdrawn when it comes to relationships. I end up getting involved with people that I’m trying to make happy and happy.”

The actor broke down issues in his personal life.
“It really doesn’t come down to, ‘Is this a good union? Do we make each other happy? Is there trust and bond and are there good things here?’ I was just like, ‘If I’m going to do anything right, I’m going to make sure this person is very happy with me,'” he said. “It never worked.”
He states he cannot “make other people happy” himself.
“Love is amazing but love doesn’t do it alone,” he continued. “You can love someone to death, and you can be in a toxic relationship and it can spiral out of control and ruin both of your lives. What works? Trust and respect.”
