Cheslie began her career in 2015 after she represented the Metrolina area at Miss North Carolina.
She won the title and became Miss North Carolina in 2015.

Death
Cheslie died on January 30, 2022 in New York after committing suicide. It was reported that he fell from the 29th floor of the building where he lived in Midtown Manhattan, New York. Reportedly, he left a suicide note and gave all his possessions to his mother. In an interview, his family spoke about Cheslie’s death and said,
It is with great devastation and sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Its great light is a light that inspires others around the world with its beauty and strength. He cares, he loves, he laughs and he shines.”
Cheslie updated her Instagram post hours before her death.
Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, wrote on Instagram and expressed her condolences on Cheslie’s death. In the note, he wrote,
