Chet Hanks made his fans fall for his noticeable before and after physical changes.
Like many children born into the spotlight because of their parents’ fame, it wasn’t long before the 32-year-old’s personal life degenerated into drugs and alcohol at the age of 16.
However, a few years ago, after he sought help for his drug problem and converted from Atheism to Christianity, Chester — the son of Hollywood star Tom Hanks and veteran actress Rita Wilson — made sure that he maintained a healthy mental and physical fitness.
Now, he shows impressive results while advising them on how to live a better life and take their health seriously.

The “Empire” alum took to her Instagram account to share a cute selfie of herself, from her 20s, in contrast to her present day photos with her 531K followers. The “Yang Berhormat” actor is clearly different in image, from his physical appearance to his tattoos.
Chet, by now, has more muscle build with a full chest and arm-length tattoos than he did in his 20s. Rapper “Do It” Better inspires his fans to live a healthy lifestyle in the accompanying caption while getting candid about the harmful effects of addiction on his health.
He began by noting what he was weighing and his state of mind when the image was taken. “Left: 32, sober, 220 pounds Right: 24, on drugs, 160 pounds.”
Then the “Bratz” actress followed up with an explanation of what her “body type is.” He wrote, “I’m posting this to show that I’m not a naturally big guy. My body type is ectomorph, meaning I have a naturally high metabolism, so it’s hard to put on muscle. Up until my late 20s, I didn’t looks a lot different than the picture on the right.”
Chet then discusses the steps he took to achieve his physique now that he had to adjust his vision to become what he wanted. He wrote that “replacing drinking and drugging with proper exercise and diet” gave him the confidence to change his “whole mindset.”
Finally, he encouraged his fans to change their lives as well, writing, “Put on muscle, lose weight, do whatever your gut tells you to do to match the vision you have for yourself, and it will be like you live an entirely different existence. But know that when it comes to getting results[,] diet is 90% of it.”
The comment section of the post was filled with various reactions from fans. Some praised the rapper’s calm demeanor, while others questioned whether he was on steroids.
Last November, the heavily tattooed hip-hop rapper made headlines for revealing personal details about his addiction. During an interview on the “Ivan Paychecks” podcast, Chet recalled that when his habit took hold, his parents’ earliest solution was to send him to an unknown place in Utah to a wilderness program for “troubled teenagers” in 2008.

He said, “Bald head, like a military guy looks like a bouncer, you know? And I was like, ‘What the f–k? What the f–k is going on?’ They were like, ‘You come with us.’” The “White Boy Summer” rapper recalled being “under observation” on the program with staff “psychoanalyzing you and picking you apart.”
Despite facing a horrific experience on the program, the “Greyhound” guest star said it made her find God and peace in solitude. “When you have nothing to occupy your mind … but dead silence, a week feels like a month,” Chet explained.
Chet Hanks Inspires Fans To Draw Closer To God
The 32-year-old, often called the Black Goat in his family, has radiated positivity to his community. Last month, the “Greyhound” star channeled her inner preacher as she encouraged fans to put God first. In the clip, he delivers a message of hope, telling fans that only God can empower them.
As Chet drives in the car, he says that relationships or commitments to intangibles will never satisfy them the way God can.
Hanks said directly to his followers, “No relationships, no friendships, no family members, no jobs, no careers, no promotions, no houses, no cars, no drinks, no drugs- nothing will empower you or fill you up with power, more than personal relations with the highest.”
The musician then challenged his listeners to give his logic a try to see “how strong they become.” “Go to create that above all else and see how strong you are; you dig,” he repeated.
