Months after converting to Christianity, the media personality has reportedly joined the cast of MTV’s rebooted reality TV series. The 33-year-old will be joining some famous faces under one roof for the upcoming show.
The new season of “The Surreal Life” marks the entertainer’s first reality TV gig. Before joining the unscripted program, the Los Angeles native made a name for herself on shows like Fox’s beloved series “Empire.”

The new season, according to the Daily Mail, will premiere in September with a star-studded cast. A-listers include Christian Chet who recently converted to Islam, model Josie Canseco, singer Macy Grey, and Fifth Harmony alumna Ally Brooke.
Rapper OT Genasis, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, and reality TV queen Kim Zolciak will also join the cast under one roof in Colombia. However, the son of the “A Man Called Otto” star has yet to confirm his participation in the series, given his deleted social media platform.
Before news of his reality TV project, the 33-year-old announced his new devotion to Christ after a previous life as an atheist. The “Shameless” star stated that she would dedicate herself to Jesus and proved her faith by marking her chest with a cross tattoo.
On her Instagram page, the Los Angeles native revealed a large cross inked in the center of her chest, surrounded by other body art, including her daughter Michaiah’s name. He captioned the shirtless post with a Bible verse that read:
“Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your actions, then He will make your path straight.”
The media personality’s new tattoo resonated with her fans, who showered the 33-year-old with praise. Chet’s cross post was made after the entertainer cleaned up his Instagram page to start his new life as a saint.

In his first post after his social media purge, the father-of-one claimed his controversial looks over the years were a role he played. “I’ve been a character for as long as I’ve been in the public eye,” the entertainer began.
“I have played many roles and worn many masks. Actor. Rappers. Fitness man. The Lambo Man. None of them are the real me. I’m an expert at playing dumb because I learned it as a survival mechanism,” Chet confessed.
The “Maron” actor stated that he acted this way because he did not have the presence of Christ. “All the pain in my life stems from one thing – the lie of believing that my only purpose is to serve God,” the TV personality wrote.
The Los Angeles native ended his post by encouraging those who feel lost in life to turn to God and believe he is calling them to embrace a “higher purpose.”

Hoping to inspire his followers about the negative effects of substance abuse, the father-of-one explained his journey to his best self in the caption. “Left: 32, sober, 220 pounds Right: 24, on drugs, 160 pounds. I’m posting this to show I’m not a naturally big guy,” the media personality began.
“My body type is ectomorph, meaning I have a naturally high metabolism, so it’s hard to put on muscle. Up until my late 20s, I didn’t look much different from the picture on the right,” continued the Los Angeles native, adding that she achieved her incredible body by “replacing drinking and taking drugs with proper exercise and diet.”
