Career

Chhaya gained popularity with her role as Sarita Ben in the 2018 film Mijaaj. The story revolves around Jay, Jhanvi, and Yogesh who come to help Sarita Ben, an old lady who owns an inheritance. An MNC joins hands with local goons to clear the place but the three youngsters fight against these powerful people.

She was also a part of Nitin Kakkar’s 2018 film Mitron starring Jackky Bhagnani and played the role of Jay’s mother.

She later appeared in the Gujarati film Chitkar as Sumitra. This is the story of a dedicated doctor Markand Shah, who risks everything to cure his patient Ratna who is battling mental illness. Chhaya has also been a part of various Gujarati films such as Sharato Lagu, the 2019 film Kachindo, Radha Rani: Mumbai Na Shethani which tells the story of two cousins, Radha and Nandita and the superhit comedy film Pappu Pass Thai Gayo.

She also appeared in various television shows like, Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo as Inspector Indu Rane, Shubharambh as Kirtida aka Moti Mummy and Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal as Pari’s mother.

Her biggest project was working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi as Gangubai’s mother starring Alia Bhatt, Shantanu Maheshwari and Ajay Devgn.
