Chinmay Mandlekar is an Indian actor, singer, and stage director. He is well known for playing the role of ‘Bitta Karate’ in the Hindi film ‘The Kashmir Files’ (2022).

Chinmay Deepak Mandlekar was born on Friday, 2 February 1979 (age 43 years; as of 2022) in Nashik, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Aquarius.
He did his schooling at St. Sebastian Goan High School, Mumbai. Later, he attended ML Dahanukar College of Commerce, Mumbai. He then pursued a diploma in production from the National School of Drama, New Delhi. He started performing in theatrical plays at the age of 15.

Career
At the beginning of his career, he worked as an actor-writer in the Marathi play Bechaki and Sukhanshi Bhandto Aamhi. In 2005, he made his debut in the Marathi TV serial ‘Vaadalavat.’
He has acted in the Marathi films ‘Jogwa’ (2009), ‘Zenda’ (2010), ‘Krantiveer Rajguru’ (2010), ‘Gajaar: Journey of the Soul’ (2011), and ‘Hou De Jarasa Ushir’ (2012).
In 2010, he made his Hindi film debut with the film ‘Tere Bin Laden’ as Usmaan. He has acted in many Hindi films including ‘Shanghai’ (2012), ‘Mokssh’ (2013), ‘Sameer’ (2017), and ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ (2018). He has also appeared in the episodic Hindi TV serial ‘Crime Patrol’ (2018).
He portrayed the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 2019 Marathi film ‘Fatteshikast.’ He portrayed the same character in the Marathi film ‘Pawankhind’ (2022).
He acted in the Hindi web series ‘Ek Thi Begum’ in which he played the role of Vikram Bhosale. He played the role of Farooq Malik (Bitta Karate) in the popular Hindi film ‘The Kashmir Files’ (2022).
