Chipotle customers caught on video throwing food, chairs at staff

Two women are wanted on assault charges in Maryland after throwing food and a chair at an employee inside a Chipotle restaurant, authorities said Wednesday.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the Chipotle in the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, the Montgomery County Police Department said.

The female suspect was seen on surveillance video inside the restaurant chatting with an employee at the counter.

The suspect then turned to leave when the video cut to another angle showing the woman talking to an employee near the desk.

The employee appeared to be cleaning the restaurant before closing time when a suspect threw his drink at the employee, according to surveillance video.

Another woman then picked up a chair and threw it at the worker.

The first suspect was also seen picking up and throwing a chair at the employee.
