Fans posted a six-second video of several reports/headlines extolling Brown’s songs that have topped charts around the world. He did, however, end the video by including a photo of Glasper with a google search result of the pianist who took home the award for a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album.

‘Loyal’ Singer Engaged In Controversy For 2022 AMAs

This isn’t the first time Brown has had a meltdown when things aren’t right for an awards show. Last November, the Virginia native made headlines after his much-anticipated MJ Tribute performance for the 50th AMAs was canceled days before the show.

According to obtained legal documents, Brown allegedly owes the IRS and the State of California a very large sum of money, and several large tax liens have been filed against him. The state allegedly means business in recovering the amount they are owed and putting his home in Tarzana, CA, and anything related to his music business in lien.

In December 2022, he was granted a federal tax lien of $2,245,561.50 for the year 2022. While another lien was filed in the same year for $1,059,967.78. The State of Cali also filed a state tax lien for $739,067.48 against Brown, totaling just over $4 million owed in taxes.
