Chris Brown Grovels In Robert Glasper’s DM After ‘Really Rude’ & ‘Mean’ Rant

Following his inappropriate rant, Chris Brown has done his due diligence and apologized to Robert Glasper.

Coincidentally both musicians were nominated for Best R&B album at the Grammy awards ceremony with singers such as Mary J Blige, Lucky Daye, and PJ Morton. However, Brown’s “Breezy” album lost to Glasper’s “Black Radio III,” and he wasn’t happy about the loss.

The 33-year-old continued to express his anger in an immature way, throwing shade at the famous pianist in several posts on his Instagram. Following widespread displeasure with her online feud with the winner, the “Run It” singer decided to walk back her words as she apologized to the music producer on Instagram via her DMs.

The “Go Crazy” singer took to her Instagram Story to reveal a direct message she sent the 44-year-old on Monday, in which she begged for forgiveness for the “absolutely rude and mean” behavior she had shown.

Brown wrote, “Congratulations my brother.. I want to apologize if you were offended by my reaction at the Grammys…you were not the intended target and I know I was very rude and mean.” After that, he appreciated the talent of the artist and immediately tried to shift the blame to the Recording Academy.

“ORGANIZATION DOESN’T MAKE US BLACK OUT OUR STRENGTHS. YOU AND I SHOULD NEVER BE IN THE SAME CATEGORY,” he said, “Two completely different vibes and genres. So from one black man to another…CONGRATULATIONS. May you be able to support your family for the rest of your life. God bless my G.”

As previously reported, the songwriter had a strange reaction after losing to the four-time grammy winner. The “Under the Influence” singer began her rant by writing in all caps, “Who is Robert Glasper,” with a crying-laughing emoticon. He then sarcastically added, “I need to improve my skills … I started playing the harmonica.”

In a separate post, he posted an edited image of himself playing the harmonica with the accompanying caption, “New Level Unlocked! Harmonica Breezy.” Furthermore, the actor reposted a TikTok video of one of his old supporters claiming he was cheated out of the award.

Brown is no stranger to making a fuss when things don’t go well with awards ceremonies. He lashed out when his much-anticipated MJ Tribute performance was canceled by the AMAs at their 50th awards ceremony last November.

The Virginia native posted a clip of her practicing her routine for the event along with an angry caption that read, “U SERIOUS?” WOULD be an ama show, but they canceled me for an unknown reason.”

Still not satisfied with their actions, he continued to speak his mind by dropping a short list of things that shouldn’t be messed with. She wrote, “3 things to live by,” before adding, “Don’t mess with my kids, Don’t mess with my family (blood or not), and Don’t mess with my ???.”

Chris Brown In Muddy Waters For Canceling Benefit Concert

Last July, Breezy, as he was often called, made headlines for the wrong reasons. As reported by The Blast, a local businessman named LeJuan Bailey is suing the famous singer for bailing out of his charity concert after making the required payment.

The real estate investor said in a statement that he paid Brown for the “One Night Only Benefit Concert,” which was set up to raise funds for people whose property was damaged and destroyed by Hurricanes Ida and Nicholas in Louisiana, Southeast Texas, and Houston.

Bailey reportedly paid the “Loyal” singer a total of $1.1 million in down payment and fully met her request for a private jet and lodging. However, he failed to attend the ceremony and even refused to return the money.

Part of the statement read, “I acted in good faith and sponsored this concert out of love and respect for the people in need. I’m shocked that Chris Brown refused to refund my money for a show he didn’t show up to after we announced our show and sold tickets.”

He continued, “At this point, I believe that Chris Brown’s actions are tantamount to pure theft. He has the audacity to take my money, wake up the people of Houston, then come back to town to perform on August 17, 2022. My message to Chris Brown: We will not sit by and allow you to disrespect the victims of Hurricane Ida and Nicholas in need.”

With all the accusations coming her way, the “No Guidance” singer and her team never responded to the allegations.
