Chris Hemsworth is having the time of his life!
The actor looked in high spirits as he enjoyed a fun family dinner with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children – India, Sasha and Tristan – over the weekend. He has shared a carousel of videos, including one featuring him dancing the night away with friends and family at a teppanyaki restaurant to Instagram.
Chris Hemsworth Soaks In Quality Time With Loved Ones
In Hemsworth’s first clip, a bespectacled, black-and-red chef playfully does a dance move before the camera pans to the actor who says, “He’s not really going to cook that food, is he?” before the smile on his face disappeared. When the “Thor” star saw a second similarly dressed chef wheeling a cart full of ingredients, he excitedly added, “yes, him.”
Swiping left reveals a 23-second clip that shows an off-camera chef throwing food at Hemsworth, who catches it with his mouth. After the third shot, the 39-year-old stood up, blew a few kisses, and bowed, much to the amusement of his loved ones.
Unfortunately, that moment of pride kept him from catching the next piece of food the chef threw at him. Hemsworth is undeterred by the setback as he and the gang give their best dance moves in the final clip.
While her children stood on their chairs dancing to PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” the “Star Trek” actor was content as he shook his head and raised his hands as he sat. She wore a white shirt, silver necklace, bracelets, and face covering for the eventful dinner. For her caption, the “Snow White and the Huntsman” star wrote:
“Just a quiet dinner with the family..who would have thought that a casual meal would turn into a lively celebration!”
“The most amazing show,” commented photographer Chris Burkard. One fan claims, “Hibachi is the perfect way to combine food and entertainment.” A second fan joked, “I see where your kids get their wild spirit from!!” And a third admitted, “This guy is the best! We’ve eaten there a few times, and he’s definitely the best entertainer.”
Other fans are just happy that Hemsworth is finding happiness elsewhere, as The Blast reports that he will be taking a break from acting to spend more quality time with his family. The decision was made after the actor learned he was at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease while filming the Disney+ documentary, “Limitless.” Recalling the events leading up to the moment of truth, the father of three stated:
“They took all my blood tests and did a lot of tests, and the plan was to on camera tell me all the results and then talk about how you can improve this and that.”
However, it wasn’t until his final appearance in the series—an episode centered on “death and facing your own mortality,” that the actor realized just how big the news was. The light “really triggered something” in him to crave a day off from work.

The actor revealed that since he finished filming the show, he has completed the “things” he signed the contract for. Additionally, Hemsworth’s only plans include having “a good chunk of time off” to connect with their wives and children more.
Australian Actress Gets Amazing Cake From Her Kids
Hemsworth had an unforgettable birthday when he turned 39 on August 11, thanks to the support of his children. The Blast shared that the youngsters presented the Heathmont College alum with an incredible celebration cake, which they created from scratch from ingredients in their fridge.
The Marvel star showed fans the cake, decorated with candles, in an Instagram feed. India, Tristan and Sasha can be heard singing a birthday song in the background while their dad asks, “how long does it take to make this cake?” Hemsworth clearly loved the thoughtful gift as he gushed in the caption:
“Thanks for all the birthday love! And this amazing cake my kids made by scooping all the leftover ice cream from the freezer onto a plate. #bestcake.”
The confectionary’s idea wowed her 56 million followers, with many highlighting their plans to “use this idea for cakes in the future.”
