He Was Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

The “Equalizer” actor was accused of sexual misconduct a week after the first installment of “And Just Like That” aired, per Hollywood Reporter.
According to the news outlet, two women, identified as Zoe and Lily, accused Noth of sexual misconduct. The two women, who reportedly do not know each other and approached the publication separately, revealed that seeing the promo for the sequel series brought back bitter memories of what allegedly happened in Los Angeles in 2004 and New York in 2015, respectively -each.
Zoe claims that Noth invited her and a friend to his apartment pool in 2004, where he “kissed” and “raped her from behind” while she yelled at him to stop.
“He is not. I said, ‘Can you at least get a condom?’ and he laughed at me,” he claimed, adding that he had blood on his shirt afterwards.

Lily, for her part, claimed that she met the actor in 2015 at a nightclub where she worked as a waitress.
“I was completely blown away,” he said. “He’s beaten me, sure. I’m flattered. I know he’s married, which I’m ashamed to admit.”
“He tried to make out with me. I treat it carefully. He is older and looks older. He kept trying and trying and trying, and I should have said no and walked away. And the next thing I know, he’s got his pants down, and he’s standing in front of me,” Lily added.
He stated that he brought his marriage, but he did not budge, “He said marriage is a sham. Monogamy is not true. … He had sex with me from behind on the chair. We are in front of the mirror. I kind of cried when it happened.”
‘The Encounters Were Consensual’: Chris Noth Responds

In response to allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against him, Noth issued a statement insisting that the encounters in question were consensual, each US Weekly. The actor denied any wrongdoing.
“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are false. These stories may be from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — doesn’t always mean no — that’s a line I don’t cross,” he told the news channel in a statement on December 16, 2021.
He added, “The meeting was consensual. It’s hard not to question the timing of this story coming out. I don’t know for sure why they are showing up now, but I do know this: I did not attack this woman.”
