You can clearly see the singer purse her lips as if she’s about to launch a loogie, and Pine’s reaction is pretty spot-on for someone who might have just been spat on.

Then you get Wilde’s reaction of “OMG” and “WTF just happened.”

Everything is so crazy, weird and unexpected. Twitter is literally losing it over this 11 second clip!

Chris Pine Breaks Silence About Harry Styles Spitting On Him

Chris Pine on KImmelMEGA

“This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an outlandish online illusion that is clearly deceptive and allows for foolish speculation,” the statement read. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did it not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply doesn’t exist.”

Harry’s team didn’t respond Many people request a comment.

People on social media must have erred on the side of Styles spitting on Pine.

“This has got to be the wildest/wildest pre-movie drama in recent memory. Every round there’s something,” one person tweeted.

Another said their press release looked like “hell on earth.”

“Chris Pine is the definition of Class, many of us wouldn’t take him and cause a scene, more respect him. The man is a great human being, doesn’t deserve to be treated like that,” wrote one fan.

Not only was “Spitgate 2022” a major topic of discussion on social media, Haz’s random AF comments about the film also made the social media rounds.

“You know my favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie. It feels like real, going to a movie theater, a movie. You know, because you left,” Styles said as Pine stared blankly ahead.

“Imagine being Chris Pine, a PROFESSIONAL actor. Flip phone charged. Feminist theory books on deck for your downtime between junkets. You show up in front of your cast HATING each other and you’re stuck with a guy who seems to have understood what acting is all about? Wow,” tweeted one fan.

Someone hilariously wrote, “Chris pine breaks up at a press conference, Florence pugh shows up 15 minutes late with an aperol spritz, tom cruise clings to a plane and says ‘see you at the movies!’ Brendan fraser gets a six-minute ovation… maybe cinema really is back.”
