Chrisley Kids To Star In New Reality Show About Life After Parents’ Sentencing: ‘So Happy To Be Back’

The Chrisleys are back on reality TV…without their parents!

Infamous clan leaders, Todd and Julie Chrisley, fell from grace following their imprisonment on charges of fraud and tax evasion. The pair received a joint sentence of 19 years, now months into their first year in prison.

The children of the dynamic duo have been actively broadcasting their parents’ prison struggles, raising awareness of their allegedly “inhumane” conditions. While they continue to fight for their release, the couple’s loved ones are making sure they remain a relevant topic with their new show.

Before ending up behind bars, the family made waves as stars of the USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best.” They earned nine seasons with the 3-season spin-off, “Growing Up Chrisley.” Unfortunately, both shows were canceled due to cheating scandals.

The situation becomes an opportunity for those left behind as Chase, Savannah, Grayson, and Chloe, along with their grandmother “Nanny” Faye Chrisley, are chosen to lead a new reality series. The untitled program, per Deadline, will be produced by Scout Productions, the company responsible for the beloved “Queer Eye” show.

The program, which is currently in development, will follow Todd’s children and mother as they navigate their lives without the real estate mogul and his wife. There’s no doubt there’s plenty of content to unpack for the upcoming series, as Chase recently ended his engagement to Emmy Medders.

Meanwhile, Savannah is struggling with the burden of responsibility placed on her young shoulders as the caretaker of her younger brother Grayson and niece Chloe. The founder of Sassy by Savannah once discussed paying high monthly bills for therapy for herself and the children in her care.

Addressing the upcoming series, the former beauty pageant contestant raved about her family’s collaboration with Scout Productions. Singing the company’s praises, the 26-year-old said: “The time is right to share our story, and we couldn’t have found a better partner in Scout Productions.”

“Their ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unparalleled, and I know they will find the right home for the next chapter of our lives,” claims the blonde beauty. “We are very happy to be back.”

Chrisleys new program will be executive produced by David Collins, Rob Eric, Renata Lombardo, and Michael Williams. Speaking on behalf of Scout Productions, Eric echoed the same excitement about working with Savannah and her family.

“Collaborating with the Chrisley family, who are nothing short of reality royalty, for their highly anticipated return to TV is beyond thrilling,” said the Chief Creative Officer. “They are ready to bring their special and unique hearts back to fans, and we can’t wait to tell their stories.”

Before confirming her family’s upcoming show with Scout Productions, the former Miss Tennessee Teen USA titleholder dropped a hint about the program. The revelation came as the 26-year-old spoke in a documentary allegedly about his parents’ imprisonment.

In July, shortly after her half-sister Lindsie Chrisley announced that she would not be participating in the rumored documentary, the Atlanta native opened up about the situation on her Instagram Story. Sharing a long video, the blonde beauty denied the existence of the program.

“I was made aware of some of the crazy stories that have been around about this family documentary. First of all, I want to set the record straight, there is no family documentary going on,” explained the TV personality.

“Me, Chase, the kids and the nanny are filming a new reality show, and we’ve partnered with a great production company to make this happen. And it’s going to be the first reality show we’re doing,” continued Savannah, teasing her family’s collaboration with Scout Productions.

Regarding the rumored documentary, the “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcaster stated that he and his brother Chase did not greenlight its production. According to the media personality, any documentary about his parents is fake news because he did not get their input or cooperation.

“Because the truth is not behind it, and since day one, I have said no, no, no, no. I didn’t cooperate, neither did the children or Chase,” the former beauty pageant participant admitted.

“Besides, any documentary that happens is all based on lies. Because at the end of the day, if Mom and Dad aren’t involved, how do you get the full truth? They should be able to share their side of any story being told,” Savannah said.
