Chrissy Teigen and John Legend added more love to their growing family earlier this month. The couple, who welcomed their third child earlier this year, quietly welcomed their fourth via surrogate on June 19.

In a carousel of photos shared on Instagram with the simple caption, “????,” Teigen tells the story of how her new bundle of joy came to be.
“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted four children. As a little girl, 2 glow worm dolls and 2 cabbage patch dolls were always in my arms, helping me mess around in my pretend kitchen, watching Alf with me,” she began. “We would sleep together every night, each getting the same number of kisses so as not to make the other jealous. My mom is always looking for the Puppy Pound with 4 pups in the pouch, without hesitation to open and peek inside before buying.”
The next photo explains that after losing her son Jack, she didn’t think she could carry another baby on her own.
“In 2021, we contacted surrogacy agencies, with our first correspondence asking about possibly having 2 tandem surrogates, each bringing us a healthy baby boy or girl. Twins, kind of,” he continued.

The next slide talks about meeting Alexandria who ends up being the couple’s replacement.
“At the same time, we also met the most incredible, loving, caring surrogate we could have ever imagined, Alexandria,” he continued. “I knew he was the perfect match for us when we spoke to him. All our wishes and dreams are aligned.”

Her son arrived “just a few minutes before midnight on June 19” and she got the chance to watch him enter the world.
The last slide that tells her heartwarming story mentions her angel baby Jack.
“Our hearts, and our home, are officially full,” she wrote. “And to our Jack, we know both of their angel kisses are from you.”

The newest member of the family arrived just five months after the family welcomed their third child, Esti. They are also parents to daughter Luna Simone, 7, and son Miles Theodore, 4.
Many of Teigen’s social media followers jumped into the comments section to leave their well-wishes for the family.
Alexandria, the couple’s surrogate left a sweet message for the family, “Thank you for choosing me ❤️ For making this whole experience so wonderful. For loving me and my family with all my heart. It was truly an honor to bring the perfect Wren into the world with you right by my side. ❤️”

Many left comments about Teigen’s way of announcing the baby’s arrival and surrogacy information.
One follower wrote, “As a surrogate, nothing shows me a person’s true character more than when a birth announcement happens. The way you talk about yourself reinforces what I already know — that your character is as beautiful as your face. ?❤❤❤”
Another added, “I just wanted to say THANK YOU as an experienced surrogate for being so thankful, grateful, and amazing with your surrogacy journey.
