On Monday night, the “Hurt” singer appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to talk about music and her upcoming Las Vegas Residency. While she was there, the “Beautiful” singer was also asked if Britney had ever called her to discuss her memoir.

“Brother, I don’t know. I don’t know,” he replied. Although the Grammy award-winning singer grew up with the “Toxic” singer on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” it seems the two have been out of touch for a while.

“I hope all is well with him. Everything is beautiful,” he said, adding, “The future should be celebrated.”

Still, host Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t going to let it go so easily and pressed, “If you had to choose between being in it or not being in it?” Christina asked, “I mean, really? Really?”

“I’d like to be in it,” Jimmy confesses, to which Christina replies, “Maybe you’ll be in it. Listen, I like you more than me.”

According to ET, Britney posted the clip to her Instagram Story at the time. “I love and adore everyone who supports me … But refusing to speak when you know the truth, equals lying!!!!! 13 years in a corrupt abusive system but why is it such a difficult topic for people to talk about???
