Hollywood star Christina Applegate opens up about her acting career in light of her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
The mother of one, who is set to reprise her role in the third season of Netflix’s “Dead to Me” shared in a recent interview with Diversity that he has not yet adjusted to life with that condition.
The actress also mentioned that she is still unsure about all the symptoms that come with the condition, adding that she is unhappy with how her body has changed since the diagnosis in 2021.
Applegate now plans to do less stressful shows in the future and also wants to try her hand at producing her own projects.

The actor was diagnosed with the condition in August 2021 while filming the third season of Netflix’s “Dead To Me,” which made the rest of the production challenging to complete.
As she manages the symptoms of the reportedly incurable condition, Applegate claims she’s still figuring out what she can and can’t do.
He admitted, per Many people, “I’m very new to this now. It takes time to know the disease, and know what brings the symptoms. I’m just a newbie in all this.
The Primetime Emmy winner went on to express her continued sadness about the disruption the disease has brought to her life.
Applegate added, “I’m trying to figure it out — and I’m also grieving for the person I’ve gone before.”
Christina Applegate Plans To Lighten Up Work

While the actor hasn’t ruled out acting, he plans to only work on sets that will understand his current situation, just like the cast and crew of the Netflix drama.
She said of the future of acting, “I need to find a place that loves me like my set, where they won’t think I’m a diva and say, ‘Hey, I can only work five hours.'”
Per Many people, the team helped Applegate adjust throughout the rest of production after the diagnosis. Some of their actions included pulling out some shots where he had to walk or helping him support his legs while shooting scenes.
Sharing more updates on her health, Applegate said she still feels tired often but is getting stronger every day.

Having been completely transformed by MS, Applegate understands that people may no longer see him the same way. The actress admitted that it may also affect how viewers judge “Dead to Me” when it premieres on the streaming platform on November 17.
“If people hate it, if people love it, if all they can focus on is, ‘Ooh, look at the cripple,’ that’s not up to me,” he says bluntly.
He added, “I’m sure people will be, like, ‘I can’t pass it up.’ Well, don’t put it past him. But hopefully, people can get over it and enjoy the ride and say goodbye to these two girls.”
Christina Applegate Was Previously Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Applegate’s current health issues aren’t his first rodeo to face a tough test. In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo surgery for a double mastectomy. She later had her fallopian tubes and ovaries removed in 2017 to reduce the risk of developing more cancer.
In 2018, she underwent another surgery to induce menopause and has struggled with insomnia for years, a condition she experienced more than two decades ago.
Although her past issues and current situation have affected Applegate a lot, she still wants to be involved in the film industry in the future albeit in another capacity.
The “Bad Moms” star said, “I want to develop stuff, I want to produce stuff,” she said. “I have a lot of ideas in my mind, and I just need to execute them.”
In the meantime, she’s enjoying spending more time with her daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble, 11, who she shares with her husband, Martyn LeNoble.
