In a video obtained exclusively by PEOPLE, the mother-daughter duo were heard talking about what Taylor would rather see in her room, with the 40-year-old asking her baby girl if she wanted something sparkly. In response, the 12-year-old said:
“I don’t think I want to make wallpaper. I tried the wallpaper experience, and I had it when I was young. I don’t really like it. I wanted to go for something less ‘out there.’”

After considering their options, the couple opted for a more “simple modern” style, with Christina later stating, “Taylor is a pre-teen now, and her tastes are changing, and she wanted to redesign her room. I thought it would be really fun, and I has agreed to help him redesign.”
Although there is no wallpaper in the blonde’s vision for her bedroom, she is excited to upgrade one part of the space into a desk area. Here, he wanted to see floating shelves, plants, and swinging chairs hanging from the ceiling.

“Taylor is a natural. He’s actually really good at design, and he’s really good on camera. It kind of freaks me out, but I don’t want him to do that for a while.”
