Christina Mandrell is a single mother, raising her 5-year-old daughter, Blakely. Recently she talked about how grateful she is to be a mother. “Being a mother for me means unconditional love. I don’t fully understand how much love can encompass being a mother,” she told Bachelor Nation.

Mandrell went on to say motherhood has changed her as a person, explaining, “I’ve raised my daughter, but I also had her so young that she made a huge impact on the woman I was and continues to grow into.”

“Besides, I can’t pee alone in peace anymore, so there you go, ha!,” he joked.

When asked what surprised her most about motherhood, the former “Bachelor” star said, “What surprised me the most is that I created a mini me. When you have kids, it’s safe to assume you’ll be alike. However, I’m 99% sure that I had somehow managed to create an exact clone replica of myself I had my work cut out for me, at least.

The former reality television star went on to admit he let his daughter watch his performance on the latest season of “The Bachelor,” explaining, “She actually watched me at the Bachelor Bowl. Now she’s always talking about how she wants to play football when she grows up, proving that she influenced by what he sees me doing. So to answer your question, yes, I will let him watch, but not until he is old enough. I believe in open dialogue between me and him, and I look forward to having conversations about my journey with him when the time comes.”

But when it comes to motherhood, Mandrell admits to having her “proudest mom moment,” telling the site, “The conversation she and I have almost every day is to not care too much about how proud other people are of you, but instead, work on being proud of yourself. Even though I can thinking of the 10 million ways she makes me the proudest mom ever, I think it’s even more so that she understands she doesn’t have to make me proud to receive my unconditional love and support. Always.”
