Christine started participating in athletics in 2017. By May 2019, she had won the 800 and 1500 meter races at the school’s Cossasa Games in Manzini, Eswatini. He won a bronze medal in the 800 m in the South African Championships in Moka, Mauritius, two months later.
Christine also won gold medals in the 800 and 1500 meters in the Namibia Championships in Windhoek in November 2020. She won the 400 m race in the Grand Prix Meet in Oshakati, Namibia, on 27 March 2021.
Christine set a new personal best in the 200 m with a time of 22.67 seconds on June 7 at the Josef Odlozil Memorial in Prague, earning the gold medal. Likewise, on 30 June 2021, he set a new African senior and world U20 record in the 400 m event.
Christine won the Irena Szewinska Memorial in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and became the seventh fastest woman in history. She won silver at the Summer Olympics in 2020. She became the first Namibian woman to win an Olympic medal and the country’s first medalist since 1996.
